I wish posters would stop being so pessimistic. Today was always going to be difficult. Catalan rested players last week and targeted us at home knowing the conditions would not suit us. I think 10 points from the remaining games would see us in 5th again . The 5 home games all look winnable.

We have won 2 out of last 10 games (I think) hardly cause for optimism especially when next 3 are cas at home (who we can’t buy a win against), a resurgent Wigan away and saints away, meaning it is likely to be 2 out of 13!

Also, it’s not like we are playing well which makes you think a wins around the corner

Cas are rubbish but I can see how Powell will have them drilled exactly how to beat us. Whereas we'll look like we havent trained all week. Like usual .

Not a chance. Just like the OP said that Catalans got players back and targeted this game, Cas will have players back and will be targeting the game on Friday. We are the easy beats when a team needs a win.

Cas picked up a couple of injuries yesterday that will hurt them, McMeeken being one. Only way we’d beat them them though, all things being equal they’d take us every time.

No they are not. I’ll be surprised if they don’t put 50 on us next week, there is no backbone with this team.

It's a brain we are lacking. Brough has lost the plot big time with his last tackle plays and Miller is a headless chicken throwing either wild passes or hospital passes out willy nilly. We rely on individual performances from the rest, game after game.

They might be winnable games, but I can't see us winning them.

Totally clueless in attack, and like a sieve in defence. Players are constantly out of position and don't look like they've ever played together. There's no direction, and worse, there's no passion

Cas like to exploit weaknesses on the edges and that’s why they normally beat us easily because we are weak at defending on the edges. I will be pleasantly surprised if we beat them but suspect it will be the usual outcome.

I just don't see a win any time soon with the attitude and commitment shown at the present time.

I would swap Arundel for Lyne in right centre with Bjb, put Bill back in left centre and Lyne on his wing.

I think the response against Castleford will tell a lot about the majority of players’ character.
