cheap, yes true, but we need quality not quantity.

Ben Jeffries is as good a value as most of the overseas half backs in the league. He scores tries, creates tries, his kicking is strong, he doesn't miss many games, he isn't all that expensive and if you we play him at stand off where he is clearly strongest then I think we've got a good'un.

Money buys quality have you got any. BJ is a known quantity at a reasonable price - no world beater but they don't generally join us do they - some fans need to get there expectations to a more realistic level

great news , think him and brough will make a better partnership than brough and drew. bj is more laid back and less likely to clash with brough, has a great kicking game and good support player. well satisfied.

BJ, has yes assisted 19 tries for braddy this season, i think he would go in the gutter if he joined crusaders, ending up like ned catic, if we do sign him, i wont have a problem with it !

BTW. heard rumours that before sol signed for wire, JK was on the prowl for him, in my opinion he is injury prone and a tad clumsy, is the semi rumour true. we'll find out in a few weeks won't we

One of his main attributes is his link up play for the backs.
Never really got the credit last time around,maybe because he was quiet and an easy target for the boo boys, but the stats don't lie.Outside of him this year you have Nero and Semi both in the top 20 for clean breaks and tries.
So in my view a good signing and welcome back home.

Don't think Jeffries will get any stick. Yeah he got some when he played against us but so did Korki when he played for Cas.
