Just been on the Salford Forum and there is a post indicating that we have signed him for next season.

What are peoples thoughts should this turn out to be true

if thats right and i doubt it thats a great signing coup for the club

Is he a 6 or 7? Not seen him, but heard good things. Young, British, and if there is anything in it that would suggest we aren't signing a 6 from overseas, freeing up a quota place - not to use, just to tease Cas with of course.

As has been said, I'd doubt it though, he comes rated and there'd surely be competition.

hes a 6 and a very promising one only a young lad but i work in eccles with salford fans and they really rate him but mcrae has been playing him on the wing and centres due to injuries and to accomadate jeremy smith at 6

He's a stand off and a very good one at that.

if we have signed him then its one of the better signings of the last few years IMO.

I touted him as a potential target about 2 months ago when he was being overlooked by McRae even though Salford were struggling and Ratchford had been effective in the games he was selected for.

If we have nipped in and signed him up then we must have done so under the noses of a few other SL clubs.

A Brough - Ratchford half back pairing behind a Stosic, Moore, Tronc, Korkidas, Bibey, Newton, Obst front row will do nicely thank you

Him and Brough have both got the class to be internationals. My mouths watering already! Hope we have him penned for a few years!

If this is true then next years team is looking very capable!

I don't doubt how much peoples tongues (or finger tips) slip on that site one bit,

Jordan and Stef are very good mates and always prating about on facebook with there own and each others pages, many is the time they facebook "rape" each other, not saying it is not true, but i would not be shocked if it was again more of the same high jinx from those crazy Salford kids.

If he were to go on the market i am sure again there would be a good few clubs in for him, and you can't win all the transfer battles down at Belle Vue.....can you?
