| Castleford who were 13th in super league scores, appealed & lost out on appeal but only on wrong financial details presented, but they have won an appolagy from IMG for a wrong item they judged.
That item was / is a post code ( a wfd post code ) which has issues sharing catchment with Trinity.
So they have promised to correct this - thus ing said a " massive change in points awarded will be made.
This may well affect us in our points etc.
Castleford are upping their actions & outcomes, a). Ownership changing b). Stadium work starting now c). 3 No marquee players signing soon.
Quite a fight coming soon, there is no guarantee for us if people think we will be SL.
I hope we are but there is no relegation setting.

We're not competing with Cas for a place in SL next year, it's London that has no chance of getting the required points to overtake us and keep their place.
As for Cas they've got their own problems and so what if they bodge their stadium with the 2 million IMO it will take a number of years at best before they see anything like the finished article. I honestly care less if they get a few extra points tbh, we already have with the opening of the stand and if we play this season how we know we can we'll be in for more.

That's not true. We aren't competing with London. They are already out.
We are competing with
Leigh, Cas, Salford, Huddersfield and Toulouse. And maybe Bradford if they got their act together.
It's the IMG table we need to look at not the current SL table.
The stadium and finances from Ellis help us a lot, and probably put us above most Bs, but the very fact Cas are making a big push for points means we have to be on it when reviewing these points.
Like I said before, the Western Terrace ideas look lovely, but don't really get us any immediate points.
Hammering social media will.

| I believe they are looking a marquee signings for next season, don’t they have to maintain a crowd level for this season and an improved league position.
With regards the original ratings we were above both Leigh and Castleford, I am not sure what they can do to increase their points. With regards Toulouse they are investing in their ground but it is unlikely to be completed in time for the final rating and they have gambled like Castleford with a weakened squad to do so.

True, but I didn't say we were competing with London. Like I said London has no chance of getting the required points to be in SL next year and it's their place we're looking to take not Cas. Although Cas will have an eye not just on us but the likes of Toulouse moving forward and it's the reason why they're scrambling for points, they're in a precarious position, as are a couple of others.

| Am I wrong in thinking that our points when calculated again will have points for the east stand added as they weren’t included the last time as the stand wasn’t ompleted?

Yeah, that's what my understanding is. When we officially opened up the Neil Fox stand it gave us an extra point, that we didn't have when they initially brought out our score.

They are trying to make changes to the stadium to get after points we already have......or have no we have the new stand.
The league position won't affect them too much but investment into the club will, which they have.
They ate putting seats in the stand opposite the seated stand so that when they make changes they don't drop below the standards.....like we did at the south end.
Their crowds won't drop below 3.5k average so they are safe there for now.
We are in a better position so I'm not overly worried, but we can't assume.

It's worth an extra point compared to the example numbers we got.
Edit......just realised that's what you said. Sorry.
