| So, after a disappointing loss to our rivals we have a now even more crucial fixture away.
What does everyone want to see in terms of squad selection, tactics or just have any general thoughts on the game.
Salford are in my opinion quite an expansive team when I’ve seen them play which unfortunately happens to be or defensive achilles heel this year. We must address and prepare our edge defence and imho make a couple of changes to edge players.
I think we need to make a few changes and would like to see us sun to start strong and take an early lead. We can’t keep doing what we have been vs Hudds and Cas.
I would like to see:
Jowitt
Senior
Croft
Lyne
Kershaw
Dagger
Gale
Fifita
Hood
Atoni
Tanginoa (hopefully he’s fit and ready)
Griffin
Whitbread
Kay
Bowden
Eseh
Ashurst
Quite simply we have to start winning and address the lack of execution in attack. We also need better kicking options on the last as I thought we didn’t put enough challenge in the air against Cas.

I think this is the key point now, we can improve in many ways from Fridays performance but anything other than 2 points will be a disappointment.
We've again got to hope results elsewhere go our way. Saints to give Cas an absolute thrashing and bring them back to reality would help.
Salford and KR should be the target games, where we throw absolutely everything at it but still hope to shock Saints, Leigh or Catalans.

I thought so too but to be fair to Kershaw he scored a hat-trick in reserves this week. I guess we will see but it is good to have Kershaw and Franco as options.

It’s all about getting the win now in every game. No matter who the opposition this is a shootout till last game of the season.
We win Friday and Cas lose and it’s all on. Cas do have a rough run in and imo slightly tougher than ours.

| I wouldn't drop Pitts.
If Tanginoa is fit he'd be on the bench and Pitts and Griffin in the second row.
And Franco plays

Pitts has looked tired and jaded to me recent weeks. He had a really good run of form min season so hope he can rediscover that.
Pitts and Ashurst are ultimate pro’s but I’d like to see more punch in the second row. We need to start scoring points.

| I dont understand the rush to move Griffin out of the centre, the guy basically scored three tries in that position. Even more baffling if Tanginoa is fit again, he would come straight in over Proctor.
I would however change both wingers, Franco on the left and Kershaw on the right.
Halfbacks are tricky. Dagger could come into the reckoning for Lino or Gale.
Jowitt
Franco
Griffin
Lyne
Kershaw
Dagger
Lino/Gale (dont mind which)
Bowden
Hood
Whitbread
Ashurst
Tanginoa
Pitts
Kay
Fifita
Atoni
Battye

I agree. I'm just favouring Pitts over Ashurst but it's close.

I'm OK with Griffin in the centre though he did miss a few tackles.
Ultimately, we need the ball in his hands wherever he plays
At halfback it should always be Gale over Lino.

Why not? Bowden is a prop and Kay will interchange at 9.
