Has really gone downhill. Latest news is alway out of date. Nothing about the team for Thursday or Murphy in the Knights squad. I refuse to use Facebook as its owner is evil and Twitter just pedals hate so I have to get my news from friends or the BBC. Why can't it be updated daily?

I do...granted I'm the wrong side of 50, so not exactly the target audience but I check the website most days for updates but am usually disappointed !!

It is poor...but websites stopped being the go-to platform for information years ago.

They can never keep up with Twitter.

You said that the website is no longer the 'go to' communication, people are disagreeing with you. Many people, especially considering the age profile etc of our supporters don't use f'book/twitter and the club acknowledge this by still having the website (inc the 'news' section). I agree, the website should be better maintained, sometimes the twitter page puts links to further info on the website, so indicating that the website is the base source and sometimes they don't put anything on the website as referred to above. If the club are using a website, again it should be maintained/updated.

The website should be better maintained, but it is not and never again will be, the primary source of information.

Twitter, for example, is instant.

Maybe we should bring back the "clubcall" phone line for the oldies who can't use social media?

Maybe they should do something for the "oldies" as they are the ones who still buy season tickets every year no matter how bad we've become. I was helping remove the seats from the east stand and a couple were there to collect a pair of seats they had sat in for 50 years , Perhaps old loyal fans such as those deserve a bit more respect and some reciprocal loyalty.

Just to give some balance. I'm over 50 and I have FB and Twitter.
And so does my dad.

It isn't an age thing. Just a choice.

Not necessarily a choice, could be economic, could be a 'technology thing (ie can't adapt to), could be that they don't want to be blitzed with 'info' from everywhere etc

Blitzed with info? You only get feeds from the accounts you choose to follow.

FWIW - many people come on HERE for their club "news".

But, yes, again, the website should be better maintained as an info (not "happening news"icon_wink.gif portal.

I do agree with OP though. The website is not fit for purpose.
They just need to take the news page of and link to Twitter feed.

Maybe the REALLY old ones could have a paper newsletter?
