| Another poster had Tom had the best winger he’s seen at trinity…
As I’m a bit bored..,
So my 10 best wingers in a Trinity shirt (that I’ve seen play)
Tom Johnstone
David Smith
David Jones
Andy Wilson
Owen Stephens
Bill Tupou
Andy Fletcher
Mason Caton-Brown
Brian Juliff
And based on that my pulse rate rises every time the ball goes his way…
Lewis Murphy

| Justin Ryder was a good winger for us signed from Catalans. Josh Boshtock had a great season when we got promoted and neil Law was a handful Roger Kenworthy played all over and quite a bit at wing he could play. Not saying they’re the best but throwing some more names in to the ring.

Slater just did not have speed .Like T J he had every thing .Do not think he was as fast as Berwyn Jones ,he won a Bronze in the 4 by 4 Olympic games he just had speed If you go back to the sixtys you got to include Gerrt Cotza ,and Prinslu .Please forgive the spelling lol

I’d put BJB second only to TJ. Probably scored more long range tries than anyone, a way better winger than his contemporary MCB in my opinion.

He was ok and very fast but to have him above BJB is a stunner I must admit.

| I thought Peter Fox was very good for us, signed for Hull Kr the year after and played very good tests for England against NZ. Semi Tadulala was also solid. BJB trounces all over MCB for me, we really missed him when he went. Josh Bostock had a good year for us when we came up.

Totally forgot about Fox, definitely top 10 in my book.

| One player I can’t believe hasn’t been mentioned was Ben Cockayne, he was outstanding for us and made the England train on squad while with his. He wouldn’t care less about putting his body on the line. I really liked him.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.: |
|
| How has nobody mentioned Wasail Sovatabua? Seem to remember him being prolific. Especially in the air.

I knew I’d forget someone….
I was also watching when Keith Slater got his career ending injury… but that’s the only time I saw him and I was just a kid.
