| I'll start a new thread now we are entering a new phase.
If anyone wants to repost links to the planning and JM details it will probably start things off again.
Hopefully lots of good news to post soon.

From the latest documents posted by our developers.
Good news for those with electric cars, they can charge them while watching the game
This drawing also shows 15 electric vehicle charging spaces along the east boundary of the car park. The number is equivalent to approximately 10% of the total car park capacity in line with the draft Local Plan and are located here so that charging infrastructure can be placed in the verge.

Some interesting updates from removing the tree to the pedestrian crossing on Doncaster road, we don’t know the half of what goes on

Have not had the chance to compare the new drawings in detail.
To be honest, I don't know if you need planning permission for boxes, you certainly wouldn't to be able to make the glass full length as an internal viewing area as the spectator footprint would not be increased.
We will soon find out. Also, retro-fitting doesn't look like it would be a hugely expensive exercise should they wish to do so at a later date.

Depends on the charger mine at home is a 7kWh (my car takes 64 kWh from 0 to 100%) I also top up on my solar panels so mine is efficient. Some outlets are 22kWH and 43kWH these are usually AC. 50kWH rapid charges are DC
Mine will top up to 90% on a rapid charge and 100% on AC
as an example a 50kWH DC charger will charge a Nissan leaf from 0% to 80% in 30 mins (A leaf has 40kWH battery storage.
In addition if you park at say Snow Hill, Junction 32 or Crown Point as examples you can charge for free. There are lots of other places too.
Hope this explains it clearly just for a comparison I have a Kia e-Niro 64 kWh. in the summer and on ECO it will do around 320 miles on a full charge this time of year anything from 270 to 300 depending upon which drive mode is selected and what heating etc you use.

| We have had an hybrid which always seemed more logical than electric only. The main concern I have is that not all properties can accommodate electric charging points and then you have the time taken albeit 30 minutes to charge and the obvious lack of infrastructure.

| I’ve just been looking at a colour design of the new East Stand. It’s on page 3 of 7 under the tile of DESIGN & ACCESS STATEMENT PART 2, use the link showing on second post of this thread.

Damn!!!
Does that mean I've wasted my brass on those 40,000 Energizer AA and 40,000 AAA batteries that I've just stocked up with???

I was reading the other day that batteries in cars last longer when not charged to the max and perform better to 80% which makes it last longer, I would like to see hydrogen powered vehicles as this more abundant in supplies but it is a tad more dangerous

i don't usually fully charge mine I also have a 90%limit when I use a DC charger as they can impact on the battery life after several years.

Are electric cars now competitively priced?
Is there one yet that is capable of towing a caravan?

No, and yes
In fact, electric cars with sufficient power, of which there are many, are ideal as electric cars offer far more torque than either petrol or diesel.
Their Achilles heel remains their range and charging times, which is still unacceptable to me.
I'm all for them but I'm not going to be a trendsetter I'm afraid, I'll wait until the next generation. are available.
