| Quote: MOPSEY LIVES ON "hope both players recover ok. Crowther 10 week his season looks about done and TJ a tear can’t see that being a quick fix should imagine 4 to 6 If no surgery'"
I've just googled it and found this...
Meniscus tears are the most frequently treated knee injuries. Recovery will take about 6 to 8 weeks if your meniscus tear is treated conservatively, without surgery. The time varies, depending on:
the type and severity of the tear
how long your symptoms persist
your lifestyle
your age.

| Yeah we saw that too, albeit from 50 metres away, but someone else has mentioned a possible leg pull in the tackle from a Wigan player ??

| Not great news about Crowther.
Not really had chance to put himself in the window for us with a return from injury then sustaining what looks to be a season ended more or less. If he was trying to earn a new deal it’s not looking good on that front so you have to feel for him.
Shame about TJ but it could have been a lot worse. We may see him for a few games back end of the season but you’d have to say that his World Cup chances look slim at this point. He is my favourite player and I think he’s absolute class but he needs to get past these injuries and string a number of games together. His main focus probably was the World Cup but that probably needs adjusting back to finding fitness and being consistent for trinity.

| Let us hope his fitness trajectory follows that of Lyne whose early part of his time with us was decimated with muscle problems that kept him out of the team for long periods.

| No Mopsey, I know what I saw. A hand grabbed his ankle and jerked it sideways very quickly. It looked like a blatant attempt to remove the man who had provided two tries, allegedly. You cannot actually be shocked as if it is something new to happen to him get injured playing Pie Eaters.

| I am a massive fan of Tom, I have watched Tom in detail when he takes the ball in or on a short run, for me, he has not quite learnt to go down/fall on his own body, he wrestles, pulls & puts his own weight + tackles through his own leg & knees.
I have watched Makinson of Saints, he knows when to go to ground, how to go to ground protecting himself & play the ball quickly !
Of course, this is not every occasion but in general terms !
Tom is a class act, I now fear for him on his career, I do hope he learns to protect himself better knowing all opponents will try to
take him out ?
We now have wigan & Catalan where it's a regular occurrence !

You may be right I don’t know but surely the club will complain if they can prove it?

Since he signed for 2013 season Reece has played 17,20,23,27,19,29,31,18 (in 19 game season) and 11 so far this.
Had a couple of suspensions in that too.
Still, never let facts get in the way

Think only sustained time out was when he made a wonder tackle on ben murdoch v salford and hurt his knee i may be wrong though.not only that he got to be one of most improved players from when he first arrived and deserved to be in that england last night.

I honestly see Lyne as the ultimate professional.
He’s not what you would call naturally talented or gifted with special ability. That said he’s obviously worked very hard off the pitch to make up for that. He’s always maintained good shape but he’s incredibly consistent and does a lot of the basics very well. His yard gains are very good even after contact, his defence is of a high standard too. He deserves every call up he gets imo with his work rate and his efforts never faulted.
I have no doubts Lyne will do a good job of selected.
