Any news of him signing?

Hope we keep hold of him, I love his no nonsense approach. Think he played great for us and needs to keep in super league as been in the championship is would do him a massive injustice he’s a solid player.

I'm fairly sure he is still contracted to London for next year, so there would be a transfer fee/swap involved if we can persuade them to release him.

I don't normally do bold predictions as cleaning egg from your face can be time consuming, but...

If London get the 12th SL spot, EB will be playing for them.
If they don't he'll be back at Wakefield.

Battye for Walker wouldn’t be a bad swap

Walker and Green for Battye. Green has been awful no idea why we signed him in the first place.

If Green is out of contract then he can go where he likes as he's not our player.

Do you eve watch the game. Green was our best prop when on loan at the end of 2019, that’s why we took him. He’s been injured most of this year. His form has been mediocre when playing. Do you just have a pathological need to slag players off?

As it happens I’d sign Battye above any of our current props at the moment, including Fifita. That said I don’t need to degrade a perfectly decent player to make that point.

Walker can go for me, mainly because he’s now surplus to requirements, FB is covered by Jowitt, Hampshire and BJB at a pinch.

No he isn’t and both he and the club have denied he’s going anywhere. One more season left.

MC said in the latest zoom meeting call that London have knocked back our offers for him, so not much we can do.

Don't want to double guess MC but he would say that. I suspect there is plenty of room for negotiations. If we want him we will get him, the only bit I don't know is if we do, be a shame if we don't IMHO.

Guess we are waiting to find out who the 12th club is if its london he will stay there if not then perhaps we can get him, and give them back walker

Really cant see London being the 12th club.
There seems to be an awful lot of noise coming from Odsal and they would then be paying rent on the RFL's "asset".

I would love to see Battye as a permanent signing, he was excellent for us

Just as a matter of interest, if London stays in the championship then wouldn't Battye have a contract clause that allows him to join an SL club if one offers him a contract. I thought they all had that one?
