| With Hull having had victory snatched from them, at the death, against Catalan, they will come to BV desperate for victory.
They played some decent stuff against Catalan.
Fonua certainly looks like a beast on the wing and assuming that they both play, Kelly and Sneyd usually cause us some problems.
Having said that, we do ok against FC and victory isn't beyond us.
An 80 minute effort in defence will be a must and we'll have to sort out our left edge defence to be in with a shout but, with Trinity getting closer to a full strength pack and with pace and power in the three quarters, it promises to be a great match up and we're unbeaten at BV this season
Come on Trin !

| Quite a few ex Hull players too...Milky, Lyne, Westerman, Green...all out to prove a point...
I know Hull look to have a formidable pack on paper but have they the balance right and are they functioning as they should as a unit...am not sure yet?
Our pack are no pushovers either though to be fair and frothing at the mouth to see Fifita and Arona back in...a pack with those two and Kelepi, Westerman, Green and the workhorses Ashurst and Pitts should fear no pack...
Really looking forward to it!

| Be interesting to see if cc goes with his philosophy of not changing a winning team. Prior to the game I’d have said navarette out fafita in no brainer but thought navarette was excellent at Salford. Think if fit fafita has to play but who would you leave out ?

| Got to use the squad for me...forget this don't change a winning team mentality....it's more now than ever a squad game and squads shouldn't only be used to cover injured players...in part it should be used to help prevent them...
5 day turnarounds are tough and I bet if you look back our record will be pretty poor! We're at least even with Hull as they've the same 5 days...if the pitch is anything like the Warrington game it will be very heavy and hard work for the big lads....the middles/forwards were excellent at Salford...Tanginoa, Pitts, Kopczak and Westerman combined for 99 tackles without a miss between them and we need those type of stats again to come out on top...
If Fifita, Arona and even Tangata and Batchelor are all fit and chomping at the bit I'd seriously consider at least two or three of those to come in and freshen it up a bit and let the players know that they're not missing out on performance but for the good of the whole squad over the course of the season..

| I'll be there on Friday, really looking forward to seeing Manu Ma'u play up close like you can at BV. He was an absolute monster on Sunday against Catalans

A big signing, in every sense of the word.
Enjoy the trip over but, hopefully not the result
The game is set up nicely and FC will want to atone for their defeat against Catalan.

| I usually like the Milky that turns up against Hull, seems to step his game up.
He impressed me at Salford, seemed to take more of a senior approach to things but also attacked the line with speed.

| Hull has to be the flakiest team in RL. You have no idea what you are going to gey, occasionally brilliant, usually stubborn and more often than any other top team they can be utter crap.

Slightly o/t but, on the subject of the top sides. After Huddersfield's rude awakening against Wigan, every side has suffered at least one defeat and although it's still (very) early days, it could point towards a more open season, with the possible exception of Toronto, who currently look to be in all sorts of trouble with their wafer thin, overpaid squad - I think they will win a few games when they are playing in Canada but, right now, they look to be all over the place.
Back to Hull, they are one of the biggest sides in the comp and they do have the quality to beat any side on their day.
However, like most sides, they seem to lack some consistency. Having said that, the manner of their defeat against Catalan will be hurting like hell and they will start the game with all guns blazing.
If we can match (or better) them in the early exchanges then, we will have a chance - should be a great game.

| I’d Keep batch under wraps for another day for me ,we need the big boys on the pitch on fri to counter there huge pack or we’ll be on the back foot and that never ends well .There big but they’ll tire ,it’s just how much we’ve left in the tank to take advantage when that happens .

| Looking forward to this one.
I too, would maybe leave Batch out for this one.
Pretty much a similar squad to last weekend for me, but with the inclusion of Fifita, and Arona.

I think Arona will be a straight swap for Crowther but who would you swap out for Fifita? Maybe Navarette? Had a good game vs Salford but feel we are gonna need some size to deal with their pack, so cant drop Green or Koppy and Westermans playing really well too.

| Personally I would only bring one of Dave/Arona back for this one.
