Yes
We should have a 14 club top flight but, I dont think "we" can persuade Sky that the game is worth any more brass.

| Yes. They should turn the “third” set for fixtures into a 9s comp.

| Very much so, the uneven fixture list one of the reasons i amongst others are losing interest. 14 teams, 26 fixtures and the Magic weekend as a nines competition. Gives space for a mid-season international break as well. Job done. Variety is the spice of life and all that.

| Could be a disaster for some teams or a golden handshake for others depending if your playing the inform teams 3 times or not .As I can’t get to all away games due to kick off times it might mean the chance to see wakey play certain teams at least twice

| Yes, however - I think at this moment in time it is one of the only viable options - A 14 team league would reduce the income, so most SL clubs (Including us) are not going to jump at the chance to expand the league and a club like Wakefield could not survive on a reduced fixture list as we are heavily reliant on the income produced by the gates.
The only other real option at this moment in time is the structure that we had with the middle and super 8`s and everyone moaned about that.
What would your suggestion be?

| Definitely, 100%. I'm a supporter of the 14 team division with 26 games. I quite like the suggestion of making Magic Weekend a nine-a-side tournament.
Whilst we're on about changes, howzabout going back to competitive, meaningful scrums instead of a six-a-side play the ball.

Absolutely spot on, summer rugby was brought in "supposedly" to play in better conditions (Widnes at home) and a shorter season, as far as I can see the season has now been extended, I personally think the off season is too short for the players, seven weeks off for athletes who take a battering every week seems a paltry amount.

| It should be a 14 team league with some sort of franchising, but with a different emphasis.
Last time, with the three-yearly re-appraisal, it was all about who would be chucked out. The emphasis should be on "inclusion", not "exclusion"; that is, if a club can justify it's inclusion, work out how to accommodate it rather than working out who to chuck out to make room for them.
This can be done via a conference system or whatever, but it accommodates expansion whilst not closing the door on heritage clubs.
The only dilemmas are funding (how to spread the cost without cutting club income) and how to maintain supporter interest for those teams out of the play-off hunt.
But that's why we have vibrant and forward-thinking administrators, to work out new TV deals in those markets where the expansion clubs would play, like North America and continental Europe, or other media revenue streams.
Oh, hang on, I realised I was doing well until I got to the last sentence .....
