| A big thank you to Scott for all his efforts over the years, I bet he is amazed as anyone he has gone back to Huddersfield. For every mistake he has made there has been 10 times he has saved us with his tries or communication at the back. Will be missed I reckon but that’s rugby!

| I have to say he has been one of the most important signings in recent times.
Of course others get more praise and gets picked up for every mistake but for me he has been as influential in our upturn as anyone.
I remember him having that run early on where he just couldn't stop getting MoM.
Good luck for the future Scott.

| Can't say I'm fussed about him going. Certainly won't miss his y early kicks or dramatic fist pounding the floor when he let's a try in.
Would've thought it opens the door for Jowitt but with Brough signing clearly Hampshire will be first choice full back now.
Hope it all works out either way.

| He will be missed, class on and off the pitch and didn’t deserve the abuse/criticism he received from some fans.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.: |
|
| Interesting with Hampshire. While he was decent at full back he was imo much more effective at halfback especially after a run of games. I don’t see him as a full back personally.

Maybe so but I haven't seen much of him at f/b. The time he has spent in the halves has been impressive and he has shown creativity. If he can bring that to the fore when he joins in the attacking line from f/b then it should cause defences a lot of trouble.

| I agree.
Brough and Miller and then Hampshire running at the line, all able to give a good ball out to the wing is pretty special.

I don't see him as a FB either.
Is there enough evidence to suggest he will be better than Jowitt at FB? I haven't seen it yet!

He's not, and more importantly he doesn't want to play there either, but Brough ain't coming to play in the reserves so it's Miller and Brough in the halves which pushes Hampshire out which pushes Jowitt out. Hope it's worth it.

Indeed. It'll be ironic if we finish any lower than 5th next year.

You're probably right, but CC seems full of surprises, so we'll watch that space!
