| I know there are a number of different issues around the ground and how it affects our viability as a business or a club with ambition, but I know MC has also said that the RFL might stop giving us leeway and say leave Belle Vue or you're out.
Thinking of the Million Pound Game, the RFL ended up with the promoted club either playing out of a glorified amateur ground in London or two concrete strips of seats in Toronto. With the onset of so-called "guaranteed promotion", has that risk of ejection now ended? If we were booted out but won the Championship Grand Final the following year, when in Belle Vue, would we go straight back in?

| BV is better than Trailfinders, so I guess we're safe for 1 more year.

BV is bigger than Trailfinders but not better.
Neither ground is fit for Super League.

| It's bigger. It's better. Don't try to make a silly argument.
Trailfinders is along the lines of Thornhill, Lock Lane, Leigh Miner's...it's an amateur playing field.
As crap as BV is, it is still a proper stadium, but one we want to see rebuilt or replaced.

Bet KS has never been. Trailfinders isn’t even a ground let alone a stadium. It’s a well appointed social club and utterly unsuitable for SL - end of.

| Yes but London have a Landlord who will allow them to play at Trailfinders. Our Landlord Manni Hussain when he is not busy posting nonsense inspirational type quotes on Twitter is now 100 % certain, due to recent comments from Yorkcourts solicitors, that Yorkcourt will never hand over one single cent towards either a new Community stadium at Newmarket or towards polishing the turd that is BV. So put your feet in Hussains shoes, he has a plot of land ( BV ) with planning permission to develop it with retail, student accommodation, housing and a mosque all that will earn him a massive return on his investment ; or he can let Trinity play there for a few quid each year. Let me think about this for a second or two ..... Manni is a British Asian business man with no love for RL or Trinity, he is a property developer ...... whats he going to do ..... I know he is going to decide that there is more to life than running a profitable business, he wants to do something positive for the 3000 Trinity loving people of Wakefield so will allow us to play on at BV rent free !!!!! NOT . We will be out on our ear and I say Hooray.

That's not strictly true - he hasn't got planning permission as far as I know, please show a link where he has? He also has a huge issue with contaminated land at BV and a sitting tenant. Why the hyperbole.

You are correct, he hasn’t got planning permission, indeed there is no live planning consent on BV at all.

| Manni has been told he will get his planning permission just be patient. Box, Rodders, Rogers etc etc have told him not to worry. Do you honestly think that our council will stand in his way. They are all in it together.

| Come on belly, 3,000 Trinity fans? We get enough sh8 from other teams fans underselling our team, we played Catalans, mid season on SKY on a Saturday evening I believe, the crowd was 5,017. We have a home crowd of 5K, not 3K

| Guys,
I think Belly is bang on the button other than a few technicalities.
Belle Vue has had planning for housing albeit now lapsed. This is the most profotable type of use to develop land, I would argue.
OK its lapsed, but getting it back would be a simple formality .
We are also aware there was a planning restriction placed on the site which basically stated that it could not be developed without an alternative stadium made available in Wakefield. All Manni has to do is employ a lawyer like yorkcourt and our planning officer will soil his nappies and just pass it and ignore this previous planning stipulation. If developers can get away with the tricks they have already pulled at Newmarket, then removing such a stipulation would be a walk over .
Like Belly said, Manni is not going to pratt around much longer waiting to make some profit out of developing Belle Vue. He will get fed up, see the massive profit available in housing and get on with it. Anyone who thinks our council will not stop him is living in la la land.

| Could you have made the whole bent fiasco that is Newmarket up, Council in cahoots with developer, secret agreements to circumvent trigger points between Rodders, Box and Yorkcourt etc etc etc etc. So even with that background you honestly believe that Box is playing with a straight bat in his dealings with Hussain. The architect who is working on the BV site says its all systems go, Manni was told moths ago to sit tight and wait for Yorkcourt to make their play re not been legally required to pay up. Do you think that the council are not going to give Yorkcourt planning at Newmarket , this scam has been set up for over two years now.

Yes but it's not just the Council that can stop him is it. Sorry but I just we don't need the overkill as I think we are all fairly aware as to how grave the situation is.
You know as I know that Mani can be stopped pretty much indefinitely not that that helps anyone all that much.
Our enemy is time but then its also his enemy.
Just my opinion but now id the time for level headed thinking.
