This is a very big game for Wakefield ,must win

It's not season ended if we lose but would strengthen our top 8 ambitions if we win.

We've probably got to win 4-5 games from the next 11 to make the top 8, it's a bit early to be claiming games are "must win"

But we have a better chance of winning the next 3 than the majority of the others plus they are all against teams currently in the bottom four so proverbial 4 pointers

Yes it's a must win ,get points on the board , Leigh and Widnes next you got to be ruthless

Need to get the 2 points against Leigh to keep the pressure on the teams below us.

I'm in no doubt that the next three games will be ones which are being targeted as winnable games, but it's too early to claim games are "must win". We ran clubs like Hull and Wigan close and with a bit of luck could flip the results in our favour next time out

The win against Catalan should set us up nicely for the next 3, all of which are against lower half opposition.
If we defend as we did on Sunday, we will be ok.
Leigh will be a bit low on confidence.
6 losses on the bounce including us, Widnes, Catalan and Saints will hopefully make them a bit shaky and if we can get of to a decent start, hopefully, we can claim another 2 points.
Mind you, take any SL club for granted as "easy beats" and you will come unstuck, just look at Shudds against Leeds.

can't we wait till there really is a must win game before getting all dramarama playing the must win card
we had 3 must win games over easter, and 7 must win games before that and a spare must win game in the first week of the season, we're gonna run out of must win cards at this rate, we don't wanna end up using a try win card on a must win game

I don't see it as a 'must win' for you. Maybe for us though!

You guys are talking about 'four pointers' to avoid the bottom four. Just have a look at the SL table. You have won six from twelve, and are where you are on merit - you've played all the 'best' teams, as well as the likes of us.

At the beginning of the season, we would definitely have been targeting this one for a win, but right now, if you score more than ten, the odds are that you will probably win - our last four scores have been 6; 10; 10; and 6!

It would be good if this game could get us back on the bike, as we definitely fell off it at yours, and have been trying to find the darned thing ever since!

Think the next 3 teams we play will have us down as a winnable game,if we play like we have over the last few matches think we have a good chance ,think the word "if "is the big word

I think that has been the case all season, everybody has us down as a winnable game.

We have been targetted for a long time now as a winnable team. It is amazing how many excuses come from coaches and fans when we beat teams. Seem to remember after a 62-0 win v Wigan last year they had a virus in the camp!
