| True or not, I'd be happy with that, a second rower to come and we'll be complete.

| Aye just been reading and if they both come it makes our Prop situation look a lot more healthy, with Fifita, England, Hirst, Walker and then Allgood and Huby. As for the Second Row, if we can afford another great, especially if he'll add something to the starting 17 but we're not short with Kirmond, Ashurst, Arona, Molloy, Annakin & Crowther all there.

| If we sign these 2 then try n get Harrison on loan we'd have a good squad which looks a lot stronger than this time last year anyway

| Why cant people just be happy with this why the need to tag on a S/R which frankly we don't need.
We now have five huge forwards what more do you want. If anything it's a hooker we need however I'd have thought even the most ordinary hooker would thrive behind that lot.
Stunning signings if correct.

| Can`t comment on Allgood as I just do not remember seeing him play. Huby on the other hand is proven top quality. In his final year at Cas he was a class act, think he may have got an England call up on the back of that season. I would go so far as to say Huby could be the most gifted player we have signed for a good few years, ( Tim Smith was a joy to watch ) . I think he is the complete prop forward. I really like England who plays a different style but Starting with England and Huby with Fifita and Anakin on the bench makes us look pretty tasty.
Agree with some of above posters, second row is not a priority, another back row would be a luxury that I do not think we need, What we do need is a dedicated 9.
If the Huby signing is true then hats of the MC and his comrades for getting him to BV.

You must be on the wind up - Anakin is not a prop and I seriously doubt he will get a game this year and certainly not one at prop, let it go. Both Hirst and Allgood are way ahead and the back row is well catered for.
Truth is Anakin is to small for the style of play he's best at, sad but true. Atitude will only get you so far at this level.

| Yes, I agree there.
Annakin is not a prop, and do feel that even in the back row next season, his chances will be limited

I'm not suggesting we need a second rower, but I'd heard a few weeks since that we would bring in two new props and a second rower, hopefully Huby and Allgood are the props.

I know what you meant but for me these two negate the need for me. I believe Allgood can play SR if needed so maybe there is your utility value.
A Lautiti style player would be great but I don't think that will happen. If we do get another SR I suspect it will be a JK special.

| Who is going to do your tackling Vasty, As England found out with playing both Burgess twins having 4 huge men fill your 4 x prop positions means that in most cases you are vulnerable to the quick play of the ball scoot type play that is prevalent in SL, plus in general the big boys get tired and again your defense suffers, that is why props of less stature who defend well, are quicker back in the line, normally play longer are vital in the 17. Now As said I have not seen Allgood but he is a big unit In my opinion England, Huby, Fififta, Algood and Hirst will be competing for three spots, Anakin , Arona etc will be competing for the 4th prop position, ie a more athletic role rather than a beast who carries.
