| So we've done fantastically well to get into our current lofty perch, but the next few games will define our season IMO
Wire at Home
Catalan @ Magic
Salford Away
KR at home
If we can take 4 points out of that lot, I think we will be in a strong position for the run in, in which we have to play the rest of the big guns + Leeds.

| I'd be disappointed if Trinity didn't pick up four points from those four games.

That's a big ask. Wire - back to winning ways and now clearly in top spot (we are at home so that should help). Catalan - now proving they can win away from home with a really big and mobile pack and now in second spot. Salford - on their own ground and probably wanting revenge but is a winnable game. HKR - blowing hot and cold, catch them on a "hot" day and it won't be an easy match.
So 4 points definitely possible but with our injuries piling up (apologies to Wigan who always have many more injured ) I would say possible rather than probable.

Summed up perfectly.

Looking at it from another angle, we are one of the form teams at the moment, so they will all be very cautious playing us. They won't want to be embarrassed by the worst team in Super League, to the same degree the mighty Wigan were.

| Would it be as bad as Salford Wigan Hull Widnes?
We did alright with that lot.

| We gave Wire a good game at the HJ - no reason why we can't go one better at home. Catalans might have too much in their locker, thought I think we'll do better than we did at home. Salford could go either way. I would say we'd be favourites for the Hull KR game - it depends which Hull KR team turns up.

| With our current form, we should be going into any and every game hoping for a win.
I agree with comments about Wire and Catalan but, Trinity are going very, very well at the moment and
it should be a case of other teams fearing playing us, especially at home.
Saying that, if we can win 50% of our remaining games, we are probably looking at a top 8 finish.
IIRC, our best Super League finish was 6th (improved to 5th during the old play off system)
There is a possibility of doing this if things continue as they have been but, for now, it's just great to
be a Trinity fan.
It does feel like we are going "up" on the big dipper and this usually means hurtling down the other side
but, lets just strap in and see what happens !

| I look at how we did at Wire and the home game against Catalans and the side are playing a lot better than they were then but we now have the Wigan syndrome of injuries but the team spirit is there don't matter who we play the lads give it a real good go its all we can ask from them and there will be some more big scalps we will take.

| The main point for me is that I am so looking forward to each of these challenges. Wire at home is a massive challenge, but I think we can do them, albeit we need all the stars to align for us on the day. Watching Trin is fun at the moment - long may it continue!

My feelings exactly. My last post may have sounded pessimistic but I'm anything but. I walk down to the ground with a smile on my face and stand there without fearing the worst. It almost takes me back to the early 60's. It's a good feeling.

| It sure makes getting down to Belle Vue a lot easier, these days win or lose we will get a decent showing of rugby league. That's all we have ever asked for and at last we are seeing the fruits of Mr Carter and friends hard work. Have to give maximum respect to the people behind the scenes for rescuing this mighty club and bringing the smiles back to Wakefield Trinity and its long suffering supporters. Now all I ask for is a trip to Wembley and a top 8 finish. I think we deserve it.

| It's a 12 team league so there is little hiding place at the best of times. 4 from the next 8 pts would be marvellous but there's plenty to do to.nail top 8 still.

| I think tough times are dragging you self down to B V expecting a nit of a thumping, Constantly not getting a fair cracking and watching a team that appear to have very little interest. Wakefield been the sort of place that players have to buy in to our situation. I remember the team of Rugby union converts who seemed to have a fantastic team spirit and could play some great stuff . Looking at what we have now seems to be a great team spirit and a fit outfit . Things are definitely looking up and even if we don't make the top 8 I'm not that concerned. A great effort by everyone involved at the club.
