Why didn't he play today??? Was he rested?

No-one interested in providing an update on this, I may have just ,issued something. Not in squad for Monday.

He was in squad for Friday but was swapped with England.
You can only do that if player is injured.

Chester just mentioned him in passing saying he may play Monday but he isn't in squad.

I'm going to open up a massive can of rumour worms, just off what I think.
Tupou got replaced by England, who still had an ankle injury.
Chester plays Kirmond and Ashurst in the second row and has Molloy, Anakin and Simon in the team.
As much as Tupou is a class player, we are covered in that area rather well.
Would CC be happy to let Tupou leave if he wanted to now BS is no longer at the club and use the salary on a centre and stand off?
And before people come on wanting to burn me at the stake, it's just a scenario I have thought about.

It's a reasonable theory. If we could get a halfback of Tupou's quality (equivelent) I'd be happy though I'm a huge fan of Tupou. Personally I'd rather keep him and perhaps swap Hall ot BJB for H/B, not that I can see many takers.

Without any word from the club regarding injury it's difficult to reach any kind sense on leaving him out. It's only natural that fans may put 2 and 2 and come up with 5. It does seem strange and I can imagine a deal in the offing. A swap deal maybe would probably make sense.

I too would like to keep Tupou but if he's not playing, is one of our top earners and taking up a quota spot, don't want another Collis situation.
Hall and BJB are domestic players.
BJB now needs to think about if he wants to play for Wakey and not just at FB as the rumour going round was, that is the reason why he signed for us.
Hall I still think has potential in the halves.

A Tupou is injured

Correct. Should be fit for Saturday vs Salford. And for those of you suggesting we move him on, clueless. He's by far our best player.

Saw him in the car park before fridays game and he wasnt walking very well, happened to see him again at Trinity Walk yesterday and he was walking better..

Spot on! The guys played great on Friday but this guy would add class to any of our combinations.

Whoa! Not suggesting we move him on, just like to know why he was replaced by a player who was already carrying an injury.
He has been and still is a great player, I just hope that he fulfills he comment and passion to the club.

Get the harder dry grounds and Topou will be a class act for us of that I'm sure
