She said it was very awkward and he sounded like he knew he was going. She said JD and whoever he had in the studio with him also said the same.

Can anyone confirm this or is my incredibly awesome wife trying to cheer me up by saying he may be off?

I listened to said Interview and I too am of the same opinion as your wife.

I heard Webster on Radio Leeds and it wasn't what Webster said but what James ......... and I think it was Hammond from The Guardian who commented that he appeared to be saying goodbye to the journalists. Maybe even he has come to the conclusion that his time was up.

I saw his interview on BBC after the game and he sounded like he didn't give a toss. As good as called the team crap. If I was a Wakey fan I'd be raging at his attitude
