After a mixed weekend with the result and then the trouble, looking forward to Hull KR at Belle Vue. From what I've seen/heard they looked very good in attack but we're questionable in defence (missed 64 tackles).
Hoping for another win and wonder if we'll stick with the same team.

I wouldn't read too much in to our missed tackles we had Leeds in a bit of trouble twice and they came out chancing their arm chasing the game. Their response was to throw the ball about at all costs and most of it stuck! Really looking forward to Sunday as it should be a cracker

Feeling pretty confident about this game too. Obviously KR can score points but 64 missed tackles isn't something to brush over. I just hope the Wakefield public come out and fill BV to whatever the capacity is now and witness another close fought game.

No close fought game thanks. Don't like heart attack scores - much prefer it where there's a bit of space between us and them!

Unfortunately we don't have a great record against Rovers. No matter the respective form, they seem to beat us.

Agreed. We need to be a bit smarter with the ball and not turn over as much possession... I was pleased defensively on Sunday - this must continue mind.....

Not quite true. Since Hull KR were promoted in 2007 we have played them 16 times.
Wakefield 8 Wins, Hull KR 8 Wins

The win record is the same as theirs. 5 Home wins and 3 Away wins.

So really we have a half decent record at home against Hull KR.

Yep I was thinking that, I never remember HULL KR being a bogey team like say Shudds.

I reckon this game will give us a far better idea as to where we really are. Sunday was emotional this is more of a normal game. It will show whether Sunday was a game raised or what we are actually going to get. It will be close as HKR will see it as a possible win so we'll need to be as good as last week if not better.

However any Rovers fans watching the Smith passes for our tries must be thinking the same.

Very confident for this one. Hull KR look very good 1-7 but we'll beat them in the forwards where they look much less impressive and thats where the game will be won.

The one thing I've learned watching Trinity over the last 25+ years is that, confidence is nearly always misplaced.

We are usually better when everything is stacked against us.

Notable wins: Away vs Wigan a few seasons ago (when we had Dave Halley on loan), Catalan Away (with a patched up squad) etc, etc.

On the other hand Losing at Hudds (when we were riding high and they hadn't won all season), beating Catalan at home and then getting turned over at London, Bulls at home last season etc, etc.

It's always best to fear the worst and come away smiling, like we did on Sunday

Really looking forward to the game though and hopefully we will manage somewhere near 7000 attendance, as KR always bring plenty.

Expecting alot tougher test than at Cas. Thought we looked good going forward, but need to iron out these silly penalties and dropped balls!
