He's an excellent goal kicker so happy with that.

Tbf when sammut got selected to play his goalkicking was great shame his opportunities were limited

Brough, Tickle, Sinfield, Sammut, Difficult to pick the best in SL from those four.

I just hope he plays and shows everybody what he can do! When we signed him I thought yes! Great signing but towards the end of the season being in the squad but not playing was frustrating.. I hope he plays every week

i spoke to him last night and was frustrated at way season went for him, wants to show his true potential in a wakey shirt and feels he can, i for one will be very happy to see that

Be good to see him get a run at 6 alongside Tim Smith at 7 with Hall as good back up.

If that is reliable then that would suggest Sammut will play regularly.

That's exactly what he needs to do is play at the moment I am not in the Sammut love camp he needs to be more consistent for mine if he's not it's up to him to get the shirt not because it's him

I thnk it'll be Websters line up.

Of course there's all sorts of variations with Sammut at Full Back and Hall on the wing and Godinet at 6 or Hall at 6 and Sammut at 1.
Ryan can be on the bench to cover centre and back row with Ashurst or Kirke starting in the second row. We could stack our bench with big men and not cover the back line at all, we might pick and choose Ali's games rotating him D Smith, Ashurst and Molloy etc... Then there's Gilmour Jowitt, Johnston and Crowther to factor in.

We have the luxury of many players who can fill numerous positions but if we aren't carefull it could end up hurting us because we don't have a settled team.

The reason I asked is because I heard Craig Hall being interviewed on Radio Leeds and said FB was not his prefered position and with us having the choice of Godinet or Sammut at HB maybe he's brought him to play at centre, but as you say there is that many alternatives', it will take a good man to second guess his thinking, injuries' apart.

Looking at the number of decent forwards in the squad, it will be very interesting to see who Webster's first 17 are.
We have signed Simon, Pea, Kirke and Ashurst, to go along side Anderson, Scrutton, Kirmo, Ryan, Ali and Smith.
Basically 10 players to fill 8 spots.
We will certainly need cover as the season moves forward but, we certainly look strong in the forwards.
