Apparently, the rumour from a non-Salford fan is that we are looking to bring in a SL hooker that isn't out of contract at this moment in time. The Smith thing requires sorting for both parties so McShane is the leading runner for me on this rumour due to that.

Of course, it may very well not be.

Would have thought that Salford would be looking for a hooker to do plenty of minutes, so Danny Houghton could be an option.
