I feel like the fun police now but I just wanted to remind you and anyone who reads this about the ticket sales part of the AUP

3.2. Ticket touting is prohibited.
* This means any advertising or selling of tickets at more than their face value, whether directly posted or linked to on another site (including in signatures) for personal profit.
* They may only be sold above face value if being auctioned for charity.

I'm inclined to say what you are doing is not ticket touting as there is no real face value for a single game on the season ticket and it is less than the actual ticket if you sold it, but I don't want your post to tempt others in to crossing that line.

As a side note, considering DC is saying we have no money on another thread, you must realise by selling on a season ticket, you are costing the club that ticket value.................and I think it says "Non transferable" on the ST, but haven't got one in front of me so can't hold you to that.

The thing is it says the ticket must still be in the book at the turnstile so carnt really sell a ticket unles its to someone u trust with your season ticket with your other tickets in it

I know there is nothing legally wrong with this. I cannot wait for the day when we can do season tickets with a photo on so that they cannot transfer. That's my personal opinion. How would others feel about this?

I'm all for it, I'd prefer a swipe card system but the price for implementation may be the problem.

If you try to use someone elses ticket then a plunger pokes you in the eye.
A bit OTT but my first thought was to have the eyeball sucked out.

If I was to offer a ticket because I could not make a game I would say "buy xyz from club shop for my children" that way money goes back into club.As for swipe card would be no different as someone else could still use it.Photo on season ticket could be a good thing lets say you lost the ticket going home from the game you would have a lot more chance of getting it back.

It can't be that expensive. Take a digital photo when you buy the season ticket and put if in a card straight away. It's a five minute job that gets done every day by health clubs including TF. I'm sure as a sponsor we could look at using their contacts for the technology?

Wakefield College do it for student cards. Might be worth contacting them

I agree. Just a little worried at this moment with how easy it is for someone with know how to make fraudulent copies. That's when it gets a little more expensive. It's something I am looking at though

When you apply for bus pass' etc you need a little passport photo maybe when you buy a season ticket you bring one in and they put it on the page with all the details and put the see through sticky stuff over it so they cant swap etc

Local schools/Colleges use fingerprint recognition which is used on a daily basis for use of the library facilities and school dinners.
