I'm not sure I hope that; he's been great for us and even better before, but does seem to be a bit more susceptible to injuries recently. I'd hate to see him eke out another year and end up crocked.

If he decided to bow out at the end of 2014, I can't imagine a single RL fan of any colours would have anything but good things to say about him; top player, top man.

Scruton has signed until end of 2016

Underwhelmed

Scruton of late has looked like a player with hunger rather than the plodder who has been here for most of the season. Like many others he seems to have found a new lease of life under Webster so I’m happy with the signing.

May be he’s convinced Bradford aren’t going to get out of the hole they’ve created for themselves

I think he has been getting better and better over the last month or so and his performances in the last 3 games have been excellent. He has looked much more like the Scruton I was expecting to sign rather than the one we initially got.
As long as he continues in that vein, I think this is a great signing.

I think Scruton is a great signing for us.
He has got better and better for us and he would be really hard to replace.
He would have been touted by bigger clubs in my opinion.

He seems to have enjoyed working with Webster (and or Smith) so I'm pleased we are giving him some stability so he can show his best for us.
