I think he deserves a pat on the back. He isnt the best import we have had by any means but his attitude is first class. He plays anywhere and gives 100 percent whether we win or lose and never leaves anything on the field. To me he is showing respect to the shirt as if he was born on the Eastmoor Estate.

I agree. Wasn't sure at first but attitude alone gets it for me but he rarely misses a tackle and hasn't got a bad pair of hands either.

I don't like to say I told you so, but I did; if all Aussie imports had this lad's attitude, we'd be laughing. Even in some dire performances, he's looked like he was trying to win it on his own.

Anderson's not far behind him either - they both run their blood to water and don't shirk the tough stuff.

It's this type of attitude that wins close games. No one likes playing out of position and if you have utility value you end up getting pushed around a bit. Matt as has been mentioned seems to give 100% in any position he plays.

Personally I think Anderson is better. He never misses a tackle but does more hard work than anyone else.
Even though he dropped that ball he was my man of the match but there were some great performances across the board.

Matt had a slow start due to being late in getting over here but as others have said he's got better every game even when he's not in his natural position, always gives 100%. A bit like JD, not the fastest, has decent skill levels and displays the right attitude and commitment.
I like the guy.

I'm curious to know what he does to wind up the opposition. It seems that in every game someone is really upset with him and want to wallop him.
