| Either Agar is wanting McShane to play 80 mins or have Washbrook or Siejka (both are as bad as each other) to have a spell there. Shows his stupidity in sending Wildie out on loan.

| Personally with that squad i'd go with the following. Anderson looks like he is currently being held together with sticky tape and probably needs to miss one. I'd sit Washbrook down as well although we all know that isn't going to happen.
Mathers
Fox
Sykes
Briscoe
Riley
Siejka
Sammut
Scruton
McShane
Smith
Ryan
Walshaw
Annakin
Moore
Raleigh
Molloy
Crowther

I don't like Walshaw at centre but I like Briscoe less. Possibly Ryan there and Crowther in.

| I see everyone is going for sykes at centre, with siejka and sammut at halves?
I would do the same but think it very unlikely that sykes will not be 6 with siejka on the bench.

Don't particularly like playing two slow (more like 2nd rowers in the centres) but believe both are better options than Briscoe....
Sykes I believe would be most affective playing stand off at the side of Sammut.....I personally thought the effort from Sykes yesterday was 2nd to none.....watched him very closely all game and he got through an immense amount of work and put his body on the line time after time......certainly gave me the impression he is one who is up for a bit of a fight....best years undoubtedly behind him but surely he makes the 17 and 6 is the best option I can see.....just play steady away like he used to when complimenting Tim Smith so well.......that leaves Siejka on the bench to either interchange with McShane at hooker.....or come on in the halves if it aint working....
Lets have a young, homegrown, hard working 2nd row pairing with Molloy (who was outstanding in his only outing so far this season) at loose forward.....
I don't think Washbrook has been anywhere near as bad as a few make out but dropping to the bench may just spark a reaction......Scruton would miss out for me after what was an unacceptable level of effort the other day.....sometimes hard to know whether to select and let him put things right.....on this one though I would leave it another game before giving him chance to redeem that performance....Raleigh surely has to come in against his former club and barring injuries the other 3 props surely deserve selection over Scruton? Although I can see Crowther missing out and all 5 props being selected....

What we do know is that Nick Scruton is basically having a gap year with us and he sees his future elsewhere.
I have no problem at all with that as long as he puts it in for us on the field and leaves at the end of the season
with his head held high and the respect of the fans.
I really hope the bloke is not doing a 'Teapot' I hope he has more about him and doesn't treat us like that.

| Why not Anderson at centre Agar has done plenty of switching about so far it just might be worth a try or two as the opposition centre will have a nightmare defending against his size

| This game can't come soon enough to get the two weeks off that follow now we are out of the cup. Hopefully get some players fit and back for the Hull game in those two weeks. It will also give those playing with injuries some time to get a rest!

| Mathers at FB, Sykes at centre, Sammut at So, is that too flipping complicated for Agar or something? Sweet Jesus, Sammut is arguably a worse FB than Mathers.
