The bookies are giving us 14-16 start on Sunday which is less generous than I would have expected, based on last weekends shambles.
I would expect Leeds to win by 20+ points but, like most of the faithful, I'm hoping that we can navigate past SL opposition for the first time in many a year.

I know its not possible but if I could chose to win on Sunday or next Friday in the league I would much rather we beat them in the league.

Although there is no doubt that we need some points in the league, I still dream of seeing us at Wembley and a cup run would help our league form generally so, for me, I'd rather win on Sunday, lose next week and ten beat Cas on Good Friday

As for the score line in our favour, no chance, Leeds by 30, and Agar to say "we can take a lot of positives from this defeat!"

I think they ere hoping to have capacity up to somewhere near 7k but, I don't know what our current capacity is at the moment.

It's hard to predict anything other than the Leeds back line tearing us a new one.

Personally, the CC is a distraction - I'd rather see them off in the League, then go into the Cas game on the front foot.

I bumped into a Bradford fan at work today and his words were 'they'll probably get you home in the cup then make sure you get a towelling in the league the following week....they don't want you in superleague'

cynics view I suppose... personally I think we'll just get beat by a better team in both games.

I can't see a win against Leeds in either game I'm afraid. They have world class players across the park. All I want is Wakefield to be competitive and make sure that Leeds know they've played a Super League quality team like St.Helens did a few weeks ago who also beat Leeds but with a weaker team.

Well just seen Look North and it was reported Bradford are considering and appeal on their points deduction.
If it happens and they get some back, then that may indicate what the RFL think our future should be.

Since 1979 I cannot remember us beating one decent team in Challenge Cup. Our record over them years is pathetic.

You're right Jason it is pathetic, 35 years worth of going out of the cup every time we faced Leeds, Bradford or Wigan ( bar once ) from memory. Leeds alone must have done us 7 or 8 times so the chances of us winning this time are slim, we'll just have to hope that for once it is our day, goodness knows we've waited long enough.

Best chance we had over those years was the semi final against Hull and Matt Peterson scuppered that for us. I can only think of Salford who have been as inept as us over the last 30 years.
