I've just been up to the shop this afternoon (3.30) & it was shut , despite the fact that the sign in the window says it's open until 5.30 ! I'd also been past the shop earlier & heard the girl inside telling a customer it was open until 5.30 .
Now the reason I'm more pee'd off than usual is that I'd arranged with the commentator Andrew Voss to get him some & then take him them to the game tonight ( he'd also tried to buy himself some the other day but it was shut ) .
So can someone please explain what the hell is going on - we're now making amateur clubs good .

Posted last monday, changed the friday hours this week yet it still shut at 3pm...

If this happened during Ted's reign you would all be on here saying it is not acceptable etc. It is just another example of how badly the club is being run and just adds to other clubs opinion that we are a laughing stock. The sooner they succeed in getting us relegated the speed with which the drawbridge to SL with be shut by the other clubs. I hope you don't think that NM is a guarantee of our return just look at Leigh they have a nice new stadium.

So you are happy for a club to be run in this way unfortunately the majority will find it amateurish when coupled with all the other problems highlighted by members. If a club's means of income are ST sales and merchandise you need to keep the customers happy by at least being open when you are suppose to be.
I presume we have released those people used to running the retail side of the club, did anyone not think or was it part of some alternative plan either way it's still a shambles. I also note that no would has said they have received an explanation or apology from the club ah but who cares they are doing their best.

You really are the most negative poster apart from Mr Benson I've ever known, I'm absolutely gutted we are in the this position but I'm pretty pleased I'm a glass half full guy!

The club shop is the public face of Trinity to many and if the club can't get anything else right, it should damn well get the shop right.

People see the opening hours on the door and they have every right to expect them to be correct. Trinity are not doing themselves or the speccies any favours by behaving like a bunch of complete amateurs and it's no wonder we are a laughing stock.

I don't know Spongbob from Adam but, what if he lives in say Dewsbury and is making a special trip to the shop, 9-10 mile round trip, petrol wasted, parking fee, time wasted. It simply isn't good enough.

Things get more embarrassing by the day.

Why does this story not surprise me? The commercial side of the club has been embarrassing for the entire Glover/ post Glover period.

It maybe an embarrassment but at least it's visible, prior to that it was not!
