| I tried to contact the club pressed option one and got the reply that the other person has hung up. I try another option but no answer. When you consider that option one related to season ticket sales I was a little surprised. I did get through only by using the final option. I recognised the voice on the other end as the person who dictated the options on the telephone message.
I now read today that the shop at the ground will no longer be selling merchandise despite the fact that supporters will be calling in to pay for ST etc. Then the shop in the Ridings will shut on Sundays in November despite this being probably one of the busiest days. If they cannot staff the site then shut on a Wednesday or Monday but not on a Sunday.
I know many of you believe I have it in for this board but I ask if this had happened when Ted was in charge would you have all taken the same stance. I regret to say that your complete disregard for these problems only make matters worse because currently the board is free to do what it likes with little questioning of its actions.

Strange you pop up now.

Pointless topic. Of course you may be a marketing guru in which case go and offer your expertise to the board in a positive way instead of constantly moaning.

For what is worth scaling back the availability of merchandise is the wrong way to go. Keep the Ridings shop open on a weekend. I understand not having the shop open at the ground during the off season as I imagine its somewhere that few people go when there is no game. Maybe having a stall during large events to sell shirts, season tickets who offset the loss of the shop.
You're last sentance is pertinent as ultimately we are in this position because few people did in the last 18 months.

| You prove my point thank you. The apathy from some of the members is overwhelming let's hope it does not come back to bite you. I would remind you that other than selling players (which they have proved to excel at) they need to sell season tickets and merchandise both of which they have restricted by having a telephone system that stop anyone getting through and closing a sale outlet.

Apart from selling players because we need money because some other numpty spent too much and now we dont have enough...how exactly are we expected to raise £400k?
The telephone system worked fine when i rang it, if you wish to pm me your number i will pass it on to the club, I'm sure they will be keen to get in touch for your ST money.

| You seem to be in the know so how much of the so called £400,000 is still outstanding. We are not going to reach the mythical 3000ST sales so how many more players are we going to sell. When are we going to make any signings.
Why do you have so much belief in the current board what have they done to justify such loyal support.

Putting their houses at risk and working their balls off to stop the club from going under. I dont like the squad getting decimated but needs must. Perhaps the meeting in three weeks will clarify the debt situation.

I think we should all consider that this clubs not out of the woods just yet, its all so easy to just dismiss the debt we are in.
Well its all too easy on here at least.

Put there houses on the line?
You make some reasonable points now and then but your one man crusade against the current BOD is making you look a bit of a bell end at times

| Ive not bothered posting much around the mess left by Glover and co,as i was accussed of scare mongering etc, when i raised the issues last year of how poorly the club/business was been run, wracking up ccjs etc.
However here goes and ive already got my season ticket.
The club has been on the whole an embarrassment to Super League since we arrived at the top table.
I can only imagine that the new boards decision to try and stay in Super League and cut the costs,is in the hope that some kind of restructure of the leagues will mean a bottom two finish doesnt spell relegation.
If that wasnt the intention i really dont understand why we just didnt go into admin and drop down a division and try to rebuild, instead of delaying the agony for another season.
I whole heartedly understand any supporter refusing to purchase a season ticket to watch a team that at the moment seems unlikely to be even competetive.
I cant recall any positive news coming out of the club for months, everything is negative and that just breeds more negativity.
I have a bad feeling that the sole reason we decided to try and stay in super league for another year is quite simply so investors can recoup some of their initial investment.
Call me cynical, but Mr Carter became a shareholder in Jan 2012,as a shareholder he would have been presented with the Jan 2012 accounts,as an accountant did he not see a problem?
Sorry but i have little faith in either of the new directors, for my money they were part of the problem.
