| I've had my rants regarding apathy from Trinity fans regarding season ticket/membership sales, the numbers are pretty worrying, so how exactly (apart from the stark facts) can the club entice the people who've not renewed? Would a freebie T shirt be an idea? A discounted replica shirt?
Without pointing fingers, what do the fans out there who are sitting on the fence suggest would entice them to buy here and now?

| Personally i find it very hard to influence people into buying a ST,it is much easier to get them to join the lottery.I have 2 ST 2 lottery tickets 1 bingo.I have influenced 3 friends to join the lottery and working on 3 more.Iam sure this is the way foreward,so lets make a concerted effort to get friends & relations onboard. Are there any perks available to club 1873 members to use as a influence.

A recognised half-back to replace Tim Smith might be a start.

^^^^^This is it for me.
It's so difficult to get people to commit to such a large financial outlay like a season ticket if they're not "mad" fans like the rest of us! The lottery, be it Cas' or wakeys offers a much more realistic chance of getting various types if "fans" to part with money. The club's aren't really in the best position to market it either, the "mad" fans offer the best chance as we'll keep badgering away at friends and family!
Keep at it; it's all we can do.

| I've spoken to a couple of people that ALWAYS buy season tickets & will get them again for next season - they just simply can't afford it at the moment . However cheap some folk on here think they are , if you're having to buy 3 or 4 at a time , it's a big ammount to shell out .

| I mentioned this before and not sure how viable it would be, if the put a decent prize for the winner of a season ticket say like £10k or even a brand new motor in the clubs colours, I wonder if this would have the desired effect they need to bring in their custom. If your aiming for a 2k adult season ticket sale that would be £5 on each one. Might be a cheap gimmick but it could work not bad odds at 2000 to 1

| I only got to 4 games last season, so paid 22quid per game, £88 in total. I always had a season ticket up to about 3 seasons ago.
I have no real objection to buying a season ticket , but I would be out of pocket. Could the club come up with a deal that you could attend lets say 5 games for x number of £s.

Regarding the club 1873 are the spot prizes still in place as i've not seen much mentioned about them recently.
Also do club 1873 members still get a 10% discount in the club shop as i've not seen that pushed either? This could be a good selling point with shirt releases, etc coming up. And if folk think they are getting a bargain then they might spend more in there than the would have anyway.

It's all on here:

Yes, 10% discount in the club shop, other weekly prizes to be won, and 2 x yearly 2K draw.

| i think season ticket sales are fantastic, i bet that never before in the history of the club have we sold so many season tickets 5 months before the season starts. If we did one of thise clasic press realeases about how much season ticket sales were up as compared to this last season it would would make fantastic positive reading.

But how accurate is that? That page still quotes a £20 win for matching 3 numbers which hasn't been the case for some time, its a £10 retail voucher now. Not that i ever saw or received any notice of them changing the rules then either!

I don't know about the numbers sold, but I would think it is healthy in terms of revenue generated at this stage!

And yes any other time this would read as real positive news, but we're in the brown stuff and need more sales sharpish.
I'd guess plenty of people will see Xmas as the ideal time to buy season tickets but how soon does the club need the money before prized assets are sold off?

| I think people are missing the point with regard to the season ticket offer. How many folk have a yearly MOT. Normally 40 quid. Mine didn't cost me a penny last year. How many eat at Nandos. I rest my case. We should be increasing these benefits and pushing them like mad. We could do with a blue chip firm on board with a local branch. Like Cineworld or McDonalds.
