Just watched the Burgess v West Tigers game on Premier sports and Luke Burgess scores near the end, Ray Warren comentating says "born in Wakefield, they upgraded from Dewsbury as the other three were born there. No offence to people who live there..." Just seemed a bit weird for somebody from austrailia comentating on a NRL game to bring up the possible differences between Wakefield and Dewsbury!.
Anyway it cheered me up a bit after the last 24 hours!!

I suggest you watch again & listen a little more carefully this time
Luke is the eldest Burgess brother & was born in Wakefield, the commentator then said "the family upgraded to Dewsbury" and the other three brothers were born there. He also said he didn't want to upset any viewers watching in Wakefield

Amazing stuff to see all 4 brothers on the pitch at the same time, and lovely to see the interview with Mum afterwards. She should be given some kind of recognition for her services to rugby league!

The interview before the game got me, when they started talking about their dad and what he meant to them, they just carry on. The whole family are an inspiration, I reckon..

They played really well, be good to have Sam Burgess at 13 with Luke and George competing for prop positions for England in the World Cup.

All 4 Burgess brothers should play come World cup IMO, I dont care where in the pack play them.

It would be great selling point for the RFL......ok this is the RFL it wouldnt even rate a mention! Aparently the game yesterday was mentioned on c5, made national newspapers and basically was everywhere! just a normal round game in the nrl, imagine if they all played for england at the same time!

No front rowers in England compare the Burgess' at the minute. Jamie Peacock is possibly the closest IMO.
Graham and Burgess' have NRL expierence and dominate the players we will be playing in the World Cup it would be stupid if we didnt play them.

I agree! I saw Tom play for bradford at belle vue and didnt think he was going to be that good, he had size but that was it. Watching him now, he has come on so much in his time in sydney..

Yes George was the better of the 2, he had more aggression but Tom has come across leaps and bounds.

personally think Luke is least likely to make the England team. Sam and George are shoe-ins though, injury permitting.

Best bit was when each brother took a drive for the whole set at the end and then a Wests bloke drove it in and all 4 brothers piled on him before the whistle
