Wildie to step up and interchange with Wood. Alternatively push Maskill into the first team. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but this just exacerbates the decision to let Ellis go.

Our defence will definite miss him! We are screwed! Wood to hooker, but what options do we have a half back? I much prefer Lee Smith in the centre's, we need someone who basically supports Tim Smith and doesn't want to be the big i am.

Wood at hooker? HIS passing is really terrible.

Looks like our options are either wood to hooker, lee smith into the halves or we promote a fringe player and thrown them in at 9...wildie, or goulding perhaps.

How about Young Maskill?

The hooker position isn't what it was years ago. Put Washbrook there to provide the defensive ability as Aiton is our top tackler followed by Washy. Then play TT at 13. Wood coming off bench as utility with Wilkes, Amor and Mellars.

Wouldn't surprise me if he went with Washbrook at hooker, think he played him there on occaisions for Hull. Would mean a more laboured attack out of dummy half though.

Get maskill or Wildie in the team to play 9 with Wood interchange.

Maskill has the distribution and looked solid enough.

For stand off though please can we see someone other than Wood. Had another few games at standoff and is clearly not one. I'm all for giving young players a go who actually ply their trade in the positions we need filling.
