| There is a pub straight across from the exit to Wakefield Westgate train station, called The Elephant and Castle, they do a nice drink.
I would call there and get directions,as you are a couple of miles from the ground, and there are a few 'left and rights' involved to get there.

| If your train takes you via Leeds then I would catch a train to Sandal & Agbrigg. You can walk to the ground from there in 5 to 10 minutes.

| I think there is a direct train to Kirkgate from Warrington, or at least I think there used to be. From there it's only a few minutes stroll. Failing that, get a southbound train from Westgate and it's even nearer from Sandal and Agbrigg.

| If you are getting a train to Leeds then on to Wakefield its the Doncaster or Sheffield train that will drop you at Wakefield westgate or Sandal and Agbrigg thats just a short walk.Beware though that there are no Doncaster or Sheffield trains running on Sunday due to track maintainance but coaches are being laid on as an alternative. For more info contact Leeds train station I use those trains myself and get on between Leeds and Wakefield thats how I know.

| They usually go from the front of the main entrance, the one that's next to the M&S food and (I think) Paperchase.

| No idea where the coaches depart from Leeds station mate as I catch that same train at the next station "outwood".You could also make the short walk to Leeds bus station and catch the 110 that will take you into Wakey bus station and then on to a short walk to the ground.Sure if you give Leeds train station a call they will tell you.Had it been the begining of the week I could have got my lad to find out but hes not in Leeds till next week now.
I have the alternate coach times from outwood to Sandal/agbrigg
From Outwood 12.50 arrive sandal/agbrigg 13.16 next is depart outwood 13.35 arrive sandal/agbrigg 14.01 next depart outwood 14.50 arrive sandal/agbrigg 15.16 if that helps anyone.

There's a new pup not far from Kirkgate station that does food at a decent price plus real ale, The Ruddy Duck, which is at the Wakefield end of Doncaster Road and then its only a short walk to the ground, plus plenty of other boozers in the city centre.
Hope you have a good day, apart form the result .
