| This is going to be one tough game.
Having glanced through the predictions league, there aren't too many Wakey fans expecting something positive from the game.
We have overcome our Hoodoo against Shudds and finally managed to beat them, which was in the mud at BV a couple of seasons ago but, they are flying high at the moment and if we allow their pack to dominate it may be an uncomfortable Sunday afternoon.
On the postitive side, we come off back to back wins and the boys are improving each week.
Lets hope for a hefty crowd and and a tight win in a mud bath

"Quote" But perhaps most impressive is another bumper Wildcats home crowd – 9,237 for a Saturday TV game in the cold and wet is a fine effort from one of Super League’s most progressive clubs "Gareth Walker the Mirror"

| Going to be a good game, hopefully we don't let their pack ontop of us as Broughy and Robinson can control the game. We need to cover up the ball when tackling at ALL times. I think we can win this, home ground and abit of form going into the game (likewise Huddersfield). Even if we don't get a result I just hope we don't get any injuries.

For christ sake don't repeat that on that god forsaken hick hole they call the Hudds forum. Apparently we don't have a single player that is as good or better than theirs. Not one they would be willing to take in their squad - the sheer irony of that is breathtaking when you consider the huge amount of Wakefield talent they have pinched through the years.
Smith is not as good as Brough
Amor nowhere near as good a young player as Kopchek - Leeds cast off (no irony at all that Kopchek is a Bulls cast off)
Kirmond double failure at Hudds and a complete joke I'm told.
My absolute favourite though, Poore not in the same class as Fielden - which is true but not in the way they mean it.
This despite complimenting them as a team and a club and suggesting they may be too strong for us at this point in the season - I'll not make that polite error again.
Honest to god they worst most one eyed fans (with the odd exception) in the game - they make the Cas fans on that other forum look like the enlightenment!

Not forgetting beating them in their own back yard on our great run at the tail end of last season. Yeah they're the form team but I don't think they're the big deal just yet and we've shown we're a match for just about anyone at home having beaten Hull, Leeds and Saints last season. Their minibus few don't rate us at all on their forum so just to stuff it up this lot is one of my big asks ( might also have something to do with them next door being huge fans. ) If we play to our potential I believe we'll win, it's about time we started getting some credit in the media too, it's always Hull KR had 6 players out or London are out of sorts etc.. etc.. gets on my wick! Beat this lot and we might, just might get a little bit of a mention.

| This is really one game game where the North Stand could be the trump card as well as the 14th man. Oh, I love a cliche..........

Anderson would take Smith, Kirmond as he's playing now, Poore, Aiton and Amor all day long and most would find their way into your first team so give over.'"
You came on our board with this ......were you expecting our fans to simply agree with you or, as i suspect, you wrote it looking for a bite ??.
If you actually read on a lot of people have accepted that some would be good squad players but highly unlikely to knock our curent 1st teamers out of their positions !!
As for Kirmond i think a lot of our fans would have him back as we thought he had potential and rated him.
I've said myself on this board that the days of coming away with 2 easy points are gone as i think you have a hardworking squad these days and certainly aren't the pushovers and easybeats you were for us so often in the past.

Afternoon Forrest.
It's very reasonable statement if you read it correctly, but in your typically arrogant and defensive style you read it as some sort of challenge to your masculinity.
So with one last attempt to get it into your tiny brain.
I'm not suggesting Anderson wants to sign any of them right now....following so far. But hyperthetcally say Brough falls under a bus and needs replacing then he's definitely look at Smith and if he could would probably sign him as he would with all the others. Whether Brough is better is a matter of opinion but odd how you never rated him when he played for us but then they all become supermen without medals at Hudds.
The post was in reply to the OP that stated every player at Hudds 1-17 was better which is an utterly stupid and arrogant.
Despite being complimentary to your team and club it still wasn't enough. You as a set of fans are so insecure you can't accept any form of criticism whilst continuing to delude yourselves that Shudds is the best of everything.
You really are the saddest fans around bar none.

| don't really see the point of all this dick waving tbh, by nature each team's fans are either going to over or underestimate their own players in relation to others, especially when their exposure of other team's players is limited to TV or highlights.
Also hate when each teams fans go on about the away following. I think those attending away games should be applauded and leave it that. I aren't comfortable criticising other teams in the same way that other fans seem so keen to point out our away following (ie Hull). An away following should be encouraged, not mocked.

Agree, which is why after years of avoiding that forum I went on and posted in a most complimentary style - won't make that error again.

Shock Horror. One teams fans think their players are better than another teams
Who would have thunk it.
Next we will have Leeds and wigan fans all telling us that either Sinfield or O'Loughlin is the best LF in Superleague

No only the brain dead would state that, I don't think you will find too many Trinity fans who would state that every player 1 - 17 was better than any other SL team 1 - 17.
Shock horror we handsomely beat HKR but I'll tell you now some of their players are better than ours - WHO'D HAVE THUNK IT...
Jeez I thought the mods were meant to be the brighter ones.

| The original post which you refer to was someone's opinion that our starting 13 man for man are better than yours ......thats their opinion, doesn't make them wrong or right its just an opinion, you then challenged that with an opinion of your own, which, in turn got challenged too, but because that opinion wasn't agreeing with yours you call them deluded, one-eyed, utterly stupid and arrogant and then go on to name call and attack those with a differing opinion to yours !!
You will see i have complimented Wakefield elsewhere, i will look forward to the game as i always do but i'm certainly not getting into a name calling war with you over a difference of opinions on an internet forum.
