| Thats how i'd go, although I was toying with the idea of of playing Johnson in the backrow to help counter the big Huddersfield pack. I feel his defence is a little more robust than Mariano's.

| So Kirmond has a mare against Wigan missing at least 15 tackles and Walshaw makes all his tackles and covers for Kirmond on several occasions. So the obvious thing to do is drop Walshaw. I thought we wanted to give our youngsters a chance.
Great to see Ellis in the squad, whay not call Wildie back and drop Wood. Wood has been given every chance this season and shown that he is not good enough. We should be saying to Wildie ` you get the next seven games show us what you can do `.
We also to see Anakin. What is the point of keeping playing with the same palyers who have underperformed all season, they now know that no matter how poor they are ( averaging 30 points against in all games and 40 points against in the last four ) they simply do not get dropped. We are going up against a motivated Giants team who will want to prove a point. We need players in our side who are playing to prove a point.

Personally I would replace Lee Smith with Walshaw. The younger player should be promoted to cover injuries. Agar has shown all season he would rather stick with the senior players regardless of how bad they have been. Shame really.

To be fair to Kyle Wood he used to play for Hudds so I would think he will be wanting to prove a point in
this game!

| Re match day squad. I'd be tempted to put an extra forward on the bench and leave Wood out. He's not been great lately and that's partly due to Agar leaving him on the bench for so long and bringing him on when the game is lost. This is a waste of an interchange and with the lack of grunt the pack has it takes its toll in the later stages of the game.

So don't you think Kyle Dood had a chance to prove himself when he played for Huddersfield ? of course he did and he FAILED !!! Hence Nathan Brown getting shut of him ? i watched him play in the Championship for Batley and he was out of his depth in that division ? And struggled to be selected...

Don't rate him myself but if he can't put a performance on at his old stomping ground against the team that released him a matter of months ago then he never will. If he fluffs this one then its time to say thanks but no thanks.

Have not seen anything of Wood this season that makes me believe he is a first teamer either. Wood struggled at Hudds too. Wildie did not look too bad last season. I think he needs a run in the first team.

I wasnt justifying Woods selection just commenting that Matty hasnt set the world on fire at Batley Andy Ellis has the chance to prove to the coaching staff and the fans that he should be the hooker or second to Aiton.
