It has been confirmed that Eamonn O'Carroll has left hull fc, seems as though his contract has been terminated as Gentle wants to overhaul the squad.

Considering O'Carroll was signed by Agar.., would he be interested again?!
He is a young British prop who may have not just fit in at hull?!
Would he be worth signing up, as I assume Leeds will want Amor back.

I'd sign him up now.

Agar is currently monitoring a certain ex wakey prop at Huddersfield.

O'Carrroll over Mason every day of the week. Give him a deal til the end of the season with an option for another 2 or 3 years based on appearances.

In fairness, the commute to Leeds from Sandal is possible.

I wouldn't be surprised to see O'Carrol (you've got me eating my heart away) here for the remainder of this season; we're certainly a bit short up front and he could do a sufficiently decent job to avoid having to play Southern at prop.

That would be a good move, give him a chance to knuckle down and earn a contract, Southern would probaly be happy about that too.

Please lets not go down the route of signing of Mason from Hudds.We could give O Carroll a temp contract to end of season and see how he would fit in with the proviso if he does then a 2 year contract to follow.

He's had a difficult time with injuries I believe, but O'Carrol (I am but a fool) looks like a decent, aggressive prop with a bit of a nasty streak; not sure about the play for a contract situation though - I think he'll get offers from other clubs without having to 'earn' a contract at Wakey. To secure him, we'd probably have to be offering something a bit more substantial.

Is O'Carroll just out of favour at Hull, or has he dropped off in form? As I always quite impressed at Wigan; he seemed to tackle above his size and get through his work.

As much as I would like another prop, I'm not sure there's much point at this point of the season as we probably wouldn't play him anyway (don't forget we already have another out and out prop in Matt James who we are just not giving game time to) as we like to have lots more options at second row instead of prop.
