| Are the days of one of sports most historic competition numbered?
Gates are terrible and since the emergence of the SL grand final as RLs big day out and the push to establish a SL magic weekend, could the CC cup be lost?
People only have so much disposable income, and even the BBC have looked to off load the famous old cup.
Has all thing SL killed off one of the country's most famous knock out competitions and years of history and tradition? Is the shiny world of SL all that matters these days?

| 2574 at Hudds v London, two SL manufactured clubs in a shining example of a RFL endorsed shiny SL stadium.

You're right we should. It's a long time since I went to Wembley but at least I saw wins against Wigan and Huddersfield and let me say this - there is no experience like a win at Wembley.
For all that SL offers I would prefer a win at Wembley anyday rather then a GF win.

| NO! If it comes to it scrap the SL Magic Weekend and let the RFL concentrate on finding some way to revive the challenge cup. The final is still a great traditional weekend for a lot of us and is in my opinion sacrosanct.

| The romance of the cup is still there for me remember the buzz around the city for our semi in 08 & atmosphere was superb in the wakey end even though we played crap, maybe we should move the CC further back towards the end of the season. As for the shudds v London match today it was obvious it would be a very low crowd, 2 manufactured plastic clubs. Should have televised Leigh v Leeds instead at least they're proper clubs

| Don't think it's a RL issue, look at attendances in the FA Cup these days. People want something for nothing and when you look at how much season tickets cost and are subsidised by clubs, they don't want to pay £20+ for a cup game. That's the big issue.
I dream of Wembley every year, it's still the most likely route to a final for the majority of clubs.

| I'd rather we got to the CC cup final than the Grand Final.

| Keep it! I would rather see them scrap the playoffs, (devalue the season imo) and bring back the Yorkshire & Lancashire Cups!

Scrap play offs and have a state of origin Yorkshire/Lancashire and Barbarians (the rest of the British Isles)...?? and the Yorkshire/Lancashire and British cups.
