Did anyone count the non-Wakefield fans? I think it was a close run thing on my viewing as to whether there were more Catalan than Salford fans.

All this after the cheek of some Salford fan to come on here in recent weeks to say we hardly brought anyone to The Willows.

For a club only just down the M62 it is a poor showing. I think with my coming from East Yorkshire I have as close a distance as they to travel.

Salford fans dont travel well, although our own away support has dwindled since the first game of the season.
Everyone who can should make the effort to get to Saints in a couple of weeks time. Ok its not going to be easy, but lets get there and encourage the team.
Plus its a new stadium that we've never visited.

i dont know how they have the cheek they were slagging us off (hullkr) for only bringing 700 on easter monday they bring about 40 to our place its the same with cas you lot always bring 3 times as many as them and its the same distance

They don't travel particularly well to their own home games!

The only away support that has impressed me so far this season has been Hull KR's. Every other has been pretty poor, even Cas didnt bring that many this year compared to recent years.

Must admit yesterday was a shocking turn out for us, people who haven't missed a game for years didn't even bother coming.

It was less than usual from you guys, your record at b.v. is poor though and 5:30 on a saturday & on sky would always diminish away support imo regardless of the opposition.

you do have to ask the question why

was because of the time, day, tv coverage or just simply the cost

for me the latter takes most of my missed away games

If i had been watching the game live, at home, i think i would have phoned the tackle it number and had the stewards eject him!

i sometimes wonder what sky are playing at giving us the saturday tea time slot against a team we have no great rivalry with. it makes little sense economically for the club to lost out on the extra fans that salford would bring on a sunday and also the loss of some wakey fans due ot it being on the tv.
