Hope they get it sorted. Despite the animosity the RFL deal has caused its sad to see any club go through this. It’s a tall order but they should be better equipped than Trinity were to have a chance of achieving it.

| hope they survive too, we've been there and thanks to mr glover we're coming out the other end, just a point tho, thought all clubs had to have a sound financial package/ forcast in place to get a franchise.

No sympathy whatsoever !!!
Within days after getting their lifeline from RFL they went out into the junior market place and blew about £100K on trying to sweeping up a load of kids on vastly inflated signing on fees. The club is runnimng way beyond its means, the crowds they are giving out are a joke and the people in charge have run the club into the ground.
They should take the pain like we did and maybe just like us, come back stronger.

| Good luck to the Bulls, but a million quid in a week is IMO, an impossible target.
Would it make the RFL look stupid if the Bulls go pants up, and they have paid a million for nothing or would they be able to sell the lease on and make a (unlikely in the circumstances) profit/
Surely though the RFL must have undertaken some due diligence before lending/giving them the money and have expected them to last more than a couple of months thereafter?
As ever, this situation will lead to more speculation and conjecture as to the lack of transparency over RFL deals and policy, and it certainly begs the question, didn't the Bulls state that they were not undergoing financial problems (of this drastic magnitude), and that the £1M was only to secure their future? I smell a rat!!
To all the Bulls fans, massive good luck, we know how tough this situation is better than most!!!

Agreed, this is a very serious dereliction of duty and a clear failure of the franchise system to spot.
Last year we were touch and go - yet at the same time the Bulls must have been well in the mire and lying through there back teeth.
Sympathy for the fans not the club - as you say they should take the pain and we will have Burgess for starters as I believe that's how it works!

It looks like the RFL deal was to ensure the lease was not an asset a potential administrator could sell to predicatory developers to settle any debts, therefore ensuring a new club could remain at Odsal rather than having to find somewhere else to play. The RFL will have already known about this and to be fair have shown bit of foresight.

| If the bail out from the ground sale still didn't help it just shows how bad things were and still are. This next question may seem irrelevant to some but who owned odsal prior to RFL buying it? If it was bulls the perhaps RFL knew this and bought it to protect it from potential administration sale to a land developer. Will be interesting to how this develops. If you ask me think potential buyers will wait for admin rather than full purchase.

Only last week they put Elliot Whitehead on a 5 year deal. At the time they must have known they could not honour it.

| RFL helped them with the ground knowing that to save the club they had no choice, people can decide on the merits of that and the help they would have offered other clubs.
