beginning to calm down. I was staggered at just how poor we were today. Hudds were there for the taking and we just can not do the basics. Lets not even start on not taking pen kicks from infront of the posts.

I got shot down for having a dummy spit 2 weeks ago - well now what? How long can we just put everything down to them 'being a new team'? I don't chuffing care anymore about waiting for them to 'bed in' the fact is that we have now lost 4 games on the trot that we won last year - supposedly with a poorer side - yet this side have shown nothing but weakness, physically and mentally!

My other half is a decent judge of the game - I have been trying to convince her that this lot are better, but today I cannot justify that claim - it has to be earned and it has not been.

Huddersfield were there to be beaten today - just as Widnes took their chance against a weakened Wigan - but we are not good enough at all and I am beginning to believe that what we have is a false dawn. Put it this way, if I was paying that lot substantially more than I was paying last years squad, then I would be demanding much more for my money than what is currently being served.

Maybe, but I am not prepared to accept such mediocrity any more. We have seen the CV's of the players we have signed and they are - on paper - significantly better than last years lot - a large part of which was thrown together, in much more adversity than this molli-coddled lot, and yet they at least began the season with some heart and desire which, if this lot could muster even 10% of, they might actually win something.

Sport is very much about entertaining, but the most entertaining thing of all is to see your side win, without winning it is for the purists only - and by that definition then I am not a purist.

I am a Wakey lad and I want to see Wakey winning - nothing else is good enough and that should be the attitude of everyone at the club. I'm not interested in praising half-finished business - time to get serious - NOW!

Part of the problem is, if we'd have won a game or two in the close ones we lost, the pressure wouldn't be mounting up and the fans wouldn't be as bothered about losing to Hudds but it is and you can feel that some are losing patience. I agree with the above that it is about rebuilding and the vibe will be very different if Newmarket gets the go ahead but you have to be competitive and gets some wins to keep the fans interested and happy.

I think most supporters have been listerning to the Management and being understanding on the teams need to "Gel". However todays game was a demonstration by some of the WTW on how not to play the game. There were more basic errors in the game than you could count, the defence was amaturist. No good keep bulling this team up, at their current showing they are simply not good enough to play top flight rugby league

The problem is that of all the talk of needing to gel and bed in the facts are we aren't getting any better. In fact today we have possibly even gone backwards, some of the 'moves' were, quite frankly, pathetic. Three nice passes from John to cockayne and that was it. Not good enough i'm afraid, not by a long way. I fear what Warrington are going to do to us next week.

Never mind Warrington I would Kack myself if we played Wides next.
