Large article in League express today about Trinity forming partnership with Northampton with a view to their entry into Championship 1.
Sounds similar to Wigans arrangement with SW Scorpions.
This can only be good for our long term future and how we are to be perceived by the RL and media.
It is with the full approval of the RL
The word mentoring is used therefore one must assume the club is already being regarded in a better light.

I would of liked us to have more links in the midlands, Covernty Bears are sharing a ground with there union team and also entering the lower leagues, the Amature clubs are growing in numbers, it would help the game with a wildcats partnership, and it also would help the England Squad in the long term...

Ive heard the USA team are looking at some links with Cas, but that will prob fail when RW gets his mitts involved.

I wouldn't get too carried away with this. As far as I was aware all RLC clubs in the Midlands were 'assigned' a SL club to build up links with. It was mainly up to the amateur club to see what they could get built up with the pro club. A number of them just have coaches come and take a few sessions for them, others build up a structure so that young players have a pathway, but how many of those progress into pro contracts only time will tell.
