To rub salt in, I'll bet my house that this story is featured in the WE on Friday, with another outing for the pictures of the poor girl with her face all busted up.
Hopefully, we'll learn something from this when it comes to taking a risky punt on a player with off-field issues.

At the risk of sounding like an old fashined something or other, we should not involve ourselves with people/ players of this ilk.
Kids still look up to professional sportsmen and we should try and set some sort of example.

We had no players and Shudds, having raided us whilst we were in administration, threw us the scraps from their table in what their fans insisted was an act of largesse; clearly it wasn't. |
