I call upon all Wakefield Trinity supporters to support Wakeys ex captains team (KEIGHLY) in the CO-OP DIV 1Grandfinal at Warringtons Halleywell jones stadium. This will not only highlight Wakefield Trinity Wildcats fans appreciation for JDs previous efforts and achievements and excerllent Captaincy skills and a proven
great model for all future rugby league players conduct both on and off the pitch. It will also demonstrate Wakefields supporters hunger for success on the playing surface,so put on your Wakefield shirt and turn up at Warrington and support Keighly. Good luck JD and win some thing if not for yourself and Keighly but for Wakefield as well.

i never get the phrase "servant". he was well rewarded for the service he gave, and if he wasn't that's because his market rate didn't warrant it. i liked him as a player, and he seems like a nice bloke, but as others have said the pedestal he has been put on is bizarre.
i wish him well, and perhaps one day he'll be back at belle vue (or newmarket), but he's not neil fox, or even johnny thompson in my book. |

I think it's because he is a bit of a rarity in that he has a personality. He was a good player, but not a brilliant one - if he were he would not have played for us for 6 years. Right man, right place right time IMHO. |
