Or perhaps the cynic in me sees the club linked with the likes of Goulding and Schofield to make the appointment of Agar more paletable!

Are they obliged to interview everyone who's applied, or is this just common courtesy when it comes to coaching roles? I would have thought they had better things to do with their time than interview some of the candidates mentioned.

The thing with Bobbie is he could make a good coach as he has displayed already, however getting his head 100% on it wouod a real task and hence an unlikely SL appointment I'd bet.

I wouldn't be interested in watching a side coached by Goulding, but I suspect that's just a bit of lazy journalism; he probably got some of his info off here.

I was going to buy two season tickets today for me and my wife. I will now wait until the coaching role is announced as i cant stand Bobby Goulding. I cant say i wouldnt still go as i love this club, but not a season ticket for me if he is appointed! As mentioned somewhere else, i would love to see Nigel Wright as assistant coach to a more senior guy, Mr Gentle would be good!!
