Still around 260 short on the 1873 membership.
Is there anybody out there that has forms to take back ?
Come on, at least this is something we can all affect and help the club.

A couple of my colleagues got the standing order thing from the bank but they got there membership numbers; but until they have sent the standing order back to the bank which they have btw until this is processed will this count?

I'm not absolutely certain, but if they have a membership number I think they will have been counted. |

Harsh - some banks have been fine with the information that was provided, so I'd suggest that the fault lies partly with the lack of consistency in the banking sector.

Not harsh at all. Mine was returned because they didn't put the date on to start payment so I went into the shop to seek advise only to be told you will have to fill the form out again and get to the bank asap if I want to be in the draw.  I forgot it was the club who wanted my money or do they ?? |

luckly my direct debit went through ok but if i'd have had that kind of response from the club i'd have been saying well thats £2 staying in my pocket! harsh maybe but true.

I got the same. When I called my bank I was told they could see the dd but they needed club1873 acct no and sort code so had to ring club back upto get info then get back in touch with the bank to set it up. Don't think its right that you don't get entered in to the draw if you can't pay due to no fault of your own. You should be entered in to the draw but not allowed to collect the prize until proof that the dd is set up. |
