Just seen this post on the Total Rl forum

"Trinity are making life very difficult for the RL. So impressed following their recent`audit` of the Wakefield Trinity Youth and scholarship set up that they are instructing all othe SL clubs to contact Trinity and learn from their systems, expertise, attitude etc. The RL want the Trinity system to be the blue print for all clubs to follow. So firstly congratulations must go to Tony Drury and John Kain for doing such a great job over the years. The RL critised other clubs for just contacting players who had made it into the England under 15 and under 16 elite clubs and then trying to tempt them away from their exsisting clubs.They were very very impressed with the Trinity set up.

Also the Trinity Community department was giving the highest possible grading and their work was described as excellent. The new corporaate / commercial set up was highly aclaimed. Crowds are up, no debt and Savills ( appointed by the RL to investgate the new stadiums for Trinity and Cas ) were apparently blown away at their meetings with Yorkcourt, The council, head of planning etc. Savills have reported very favourably to the RL on the Newmarket plans.

With so much excellence at Trinity ( apart from on the pitch ! ) it will be very difficult for the RL to throw them out. "

I now await the rush of Cas fans coming on saying how their set up is better

July 26th I believe.

the thing is if the club lose their franchise ALL that work goes down the pan and those people will be looking for jobs elsewhere ... also the expectation and reliance which now exists in the wakefield area for these activities will be unserviced

a championship club will not be able to maintain that level of commitment or investment.. the business will need to be dismantled and rebuilt to survive the championship years then if we are lucky enough to get back.. re-built again...

yes we went into administration... but so did Crusaders.. yes Widnes bid was rejected on the grounds ofadministration.. but they were applying for promotion... and had no existing superleague infrastructure to dissmantle...

As I have said before - removing a franchise is NOT like relegating a team...
