| I have no idea how reliable Wiki is but here is a cutting taken from the site.
"Hickey is expected to join Wakefield Trinity in the next three weeks once the famous English Super League club gain a UK Border Agency licence to sign overseas players"

| no thank you . these sorts of mid season signings from oz rarely work. introducing a big money player will just risk damaging team spirit. in korkidas, king, johnson higgins and gledhill plus perhaps keeping amor for rest of season we have enough power up front to build a platform for the backs

I'm thinking that may be old news but who knows. A few weeks back I'd have jumped at it but now I'd rather a creative half back with a kicking game, an Aussie Brough would do nicely.

| Yes please. Bring back the biff. We need that added mongrel up front!! Higgy and Hickey, quite the double act...(I hope)... and a half back, we need an experienced head with a bit of spark. The kids have shown they can stand up in this division, we just need the guile to boot.
(Not asking for much are we?!)

I agree!! Thought Higgins went well yesterday, would like to keep Amor for the season though! That would give us some nice options up front when all fully fit.
Korki, Higgins, King, Johnson, Gledhill (every now and again) and Amor!!

| Could be true amor next month will be going back unless leeds let us keep him for the rest of the season. Hickey would be very useful ! Our forwards went forward Sunday gave BJ a platform to work off with Hickey in he will be chomping at the bit to play he would be good for us. I agree a scrum half is the priority .Wildie could be a bit like Myler quick and supports the man.

| I'm not as excited about this as I was a month or so ago; if we could get Amor on a season-long, then I'd probably say that we don't need him at all.

| I keep harpin on about this but we need all the players we can get. Forwards need to be rotated at some point or they will be knackered. I also would prefer forwards from oz rather than halfs to be honest as they gel easier. Just look at Wigan they now have their superstar half back Brett Finch but he looks lost at the moment. I seem to remember Barrett being the same for the first 3-4 months of the season he joined Wigan. I would like another half but will it work if we wait any longer as we may have to change to suit them or they may have to change to suit us.

| The more quality forwards the better, especially as the season goes on and injuries crop up more and more.

| Welcome signing it's a long season and this would complete the forwards .
With the Easter weekend coming up and plenty of games Hickey is that last extra man up front. Be good to get him here before Easter but that may be optimistic.
Those papers must weigh a ton because they're taking their sweet time

only takes one or two players to be injured and we would be up creek again
nice to have a pack that working for the team

| I hope this is true, it's OK espousing the merits of our current young team of players and they deserve a lot of credit. However as the season wears on we will need the kind of durability that comes with age and experience.
I don't want to do the young players any injustice but they will need some respite from the constant assault on their minds and bodies which has a cumulative negative affect on their ability to perform, recover and perform again.
Much of their individual progress as players and their collective improvements as a team will be threatened by overexposure to the demands of top flight Rugby League, for their long term benefit they need a break whether they like it or not.
