It wasn't built in a day!!

OK, the team got beaten today and quite badly, but lets be honest. Salford came to win and came to win big. They will be have been given the directive of go and spoil the Wakefield Party.
There were a lot of expectations on this young side today and whilst it didn't all come off, to me we will learn from this. John Kear is an experienced coach who will not accept todays performance. I am sure he will have them training harder over the next few weeks / months and it wouldn't surprise me if they do not improve next week.
Sacking him is not the answer at this stage. Lets allow Mr G to work some magic with the team and with the coaching staff first before we make any rash choices.

I agree with the sentiment. Rome also wasn't built without a half-back to order the workers around the place though, and a couple of props to lay the foundations.

totally agree but Mr G will hopefully appreciate this and look ( with JK ) to draft in more troops ASAP to sort thsi issue out.

We are a new and young team, we have gone thru a lot during the last 6 weeks, we may have been rubbish today, but they are and will remain my rubbish, and I for one will be sticking with them and supporting them throughout what may be an historic season.

Agreed. Wakey will have my suppport 110% for many years to come. Give them time, given whats gone on these last 3 week, to gel , get used to each other , and put some good performances in..

I thought the effort from the team was there to be seen, we lacked a bit of creativity and I cannot recall a break, Young lads learning we will get better but we may get a few hidings. As long as the effort is there I have no complaints. Some mistakes today but hey thats the game

I hope people understand, that we after give the club/team time to build.. HAVE FAITH...!!, lets stick with it and keep pushing the club forward....

Thought we missed Paul King today. Bit of size and experience in the forwards would have helped us no end today.
