Wildcats extend ‘A Tenner for Ten Thousand’!

Since the announcement of our fantastic half price ticket offer for Sunday’s home clash at The Rapid Solicitors Stadium against Salford, ticket sales have roared and the Wildcats Superstore has never been as busy.

Due to this high demand Wildcats Chairman Andrew Glover has now extended the offer. Fans can now purchase the super saver tickets up until kick off on Sunday. Andrew wants as many of our loyal supporters as possible to be able to take advantage of these prices and has therefore allowed the half price tickets to be purchased on match day so that no one misses out. The club still strongly advises fans to pre purchase their tickets due to such a large number already being sold and seats becoming very limited.

With the aim of getting as many fans down to the ground as possible the tickets have been reduced by a massive 50% with adults being able to purchase ground standing tickets for just £10 and concessions for just £6. After this weekends uplifting win and the takeover of the Club by Andrew Glover, Wildcats supporters should flock to The Rapid Solicitors Stadium to get behind their team and join us for the start of an exciting new era.

New Wakefield Wildcats Chairman Andrew Glover will be paying the difference in price back to the club and has agreed to refund the difference, as either a £10 cash payment or a £15 Wildcats Superstore credit note for any supporter that has already purchased their ticket for the Salford game before this super saver offer was created.

There has been no better time to get behind the Wakefield Wildcats. If you are a member why not bring your ‘friend for free’? The Wildcats want to start their home fixtures off in style and see the stadium filled to capacity! Tickets are available for fans to purchase in the Wildcats Superstore on Doncaster Road. by calling 0844 4140665 or online by simply clicking here. Don’t miss out on this fantastic offer, buy your tickets now, let’s see as many people on Sunday as possible!

This is Wakefield. Together We Are Stronger.

yeah think that the thread title is misleading as i can't see anywhere that says it is half price on the gate.

i tried 8 times to buy tickets online but keep getting an error, anyone else have problems?

'Due to this high demand Wildcats Chairman Andrew Glover has now extended the offer. Fans can now purchase the super saver tickets up until kick off on Sunday.'

www.wakefieldwildcats.co.uk/2011 ... %E2%80%99/

so looks like you can either pay on the gate or just go to the club shop, I would say that you would have to go to the club shop.

I old gentleman was at the shop today collecting his ticket today,
he mentioned how long it had been and was pleased to see a drop in price that made it that he could afford it

Best for fans and players to have a full stadium paying reduced rates than a stadium half full with no atmosphere. icon_biggrin.gifANCE: icon_biggrin.gifANCE: icon_biggrin.gifANCE:

On the above link there is other info regarding entrance to the Neil Fox suite and the International suite, smoking within the ground and 'proof' for concessions on the gate.

You certainly get the impression AG values customers/fans and knows how to treat them properly. Also, let's not forget, he's making up the shortfall in price to the club. If we get an 8,000+ crowd on Sunday, which we'd all love to see, that will cost him a pretty penny and represent a considerable cash injection.

"Castleford's biggest home crowd of the 1991-1992 season wasn't quite 12,000 while on average they'd sit around 6000 but the noise, the chanting and the singing just blows you away" - Tawera Nikau "Standing Tall" "I can tell you the atmosphere was extraordinary at Wheldon Road on big days. The ground held around 15,000 people, every one of them close to the action on the field and the noise would be enough to send a rumble through the town" - Malcolm Reilly "Reilly - A Life in Rugby League":d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_39793.jpg

Good marketing, but it will not be costing him much. He is only refunding money to people who had already bought tickets in at the full price. In the cicumstances I don't think that will have been many, do you?

8000 crowd will be like 4000 at full price. It's not something that will happen often but it is a good way to start off his reign.

I would rather have a ground nearly or full every home game than half to three quaters empty. I have been calling for actions like this from the club for years. yes 8000 fans paying ten pound equates to 4000 paying full. I know a few people last season and this if we are playing poor or its poor weather they will say im not paying twenty quid...put it at a tenner...im going and whos to say we will get 4000 !

Its all about perception how does it look to RFL our ground nearly or full every home game.

How must the team feel playing in front of a big vocal home crowd every time.

Halifax were fiddling their figures last year giving out free tickets even if they didnt go they were including them to get their average crowd up to tick the box for SL.

Lets put two fingers up at the RFL and do this deal more often...and compensate the season ticket holders.

Great offer, which will result in a long term financial gain and increased fan base. Whilst also increasing merchandise sales, drink and food, programme etc. Good money spinner and great marketing

A bit more generous than you make out.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.:

If it is to happen again my guess would be vs quins or crusaders.

Great deal but £10 every game I doubt will be feasable which I can understand.
