| Very well deserved too, played well did the lad.
Effort made yards, and didnt shirk and hide from the big players.
One of the [ifew[/i positives for me.

| Although i couldn't go due to work commitments, it is good news to hear that some of the new signings went well.

| No arguments about Johnson getting our Man of the match award. Definitely more than just this to please me though from our Lads against a much bigger and experienced Leeds side.
Very frustrating 1st half with us gifting Leeds the postions to rack up a big lead. Enjoyed the 2nd half much more and I think the report on the Leeds website saying we rallied "In the last 10 minutes" is a bit bitter. Wakefield kept Leeds under pressure for much of the second half. The whole team scrabbled back in defence right up to the final hooter. How many drop-outs did we force?
Well done lads.

I fully agree however I was concerned at the lack of taking the line on and tending to sue the kick as the best way of scoring.
Johnson had a great game and whether in the front or second row this lad looks a work horse and may be a great signing.

no he was second rowing, he was an interchange for hendo who then replaced chris dean then who replaced tony and then hendo went back into the second row and dean went back into the centres i think.

| I thought Penny, Vievers, Potts and Tony were quiet but the rest of the lads did really well. Dean isnt a centre imo, he is far too big. Id put him in the second row if I was Kear. Howarth was okay at 13 but he's probably a stand off. Tommy Lee and Paul Johnson were both awesome I thought, and I am really looking forward to them improving further as the season goes on.

Agreed, 6ft 2 at 16st 2lb, far too big.
Bigger than Ketih Senior, Sia Soliola and Ryan Atkins, should be in the second row IMO.
